What could be the reason for my fuel system to be far more deficient then most?

Tuner did right thing it sounds...told him of issue and dialed it back to be safe.

Rich
Yup. Car is back to stock as of 5 min ago i need to schedule appt to get the tests done. How long before they cant tell it was tuned? I heard after 50 miles of driving...
What are you exactly refering to emmission testing!!!!

IDK that's what I heard, some hidden codes go away or something.

Maybe try a datalog with stock tune to see if the fuel issue still presents itself.

Hmm good idea! If I do the 0-100 with the stock tune and plugs gapped for the tune could that possibly damage something? I returned it back to stock and on my way back to work the car drove fine but felt like it's not as smooth as before. If I did get a log can you guys check it since I have no idea what I am looking at anyways? I can possibly get it done tomorrow.

I'd think the most appropriate thing to do is leave it be, for a condition which could presumably worsen. But whatever. Just throwing my thoughts out there. Most engine tuners want an optimally running engine. And hell, pre-EFI, it was necessity.

The car will run somewhat richer because the spark plug gap is smaller.  It won't hurt anything, especially for the short period of time you will be running the stock tune; might see a slight mpg drop though.  Better than running lean, which would cause detonation, which is a big no-no for a turbo'd engine.

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

The routine ODB2 equipment can tell that you've flashed (when and how many times), but not what you did... Your tuner is a code reader/clearer... so just tell them you look routinely, etc.

Well I called to see how much exactly it will cost for the fuel pressure, volume and injector leak down test it would be so i can schedule an appt and now they quoted me $247.50... i guess the $100 is just a general look over. Thats bs. Lets see what the stock tune log tells, if it shows low fuel pressure then its worth getting it resolved since more then likely they will see the same thing and warranty will cover the repair.

Well i got an appointment for Monday to get the car looked at I am just worried it wont show anything since its stock again. I will update you guys and will try to get that stock datalog up this weekend. I actually will be dropping it off at the ford dealer this time since they will not charge me for check up. Also i was dumb enough to post a pic of my vin in here instead of just doing the pm and now am worried some ford rep saw it and marked my car as modified in their system.

Don't get paranoid... even trolling won't find pics of VINs... If there is a pump or fuel module problem it will show up.

Hopefully they will find the issue and then you won't be charged for diagnostics. It looks as if you pulled your vin down so if you still want me to look, let me know. I'm curious about backwards compatibility anyway for those folks who may run into issues out of warranty. If you're going to replace, might as well upgrade if there is an option.
