Hey everyone, My names Matt and I just bought a 2011 Ford Taurus SHO a couple weeks ago. Excited to join the forum,learn about this platform and get to know everyone!  Little about me, I'm a full time single dad of 2 and work as a senior account executive for an online advertising company.

I'm definitely going to be jumping in head first into modding my car as I'm kind of a speed freak and this will be the first turbo and awd car I've owned. previously had a 95 Mustang 5.0 (5spd, GT40's, e303, 125 shot), 98 Grand Prix GTP (zzp heads/PRJ LL cam/ 3.0pulley/e85/headers), and a 94 Z28 (6spd, headers, 100 shot)


I've ordered some parts for the SHO already from LMS. Only had time to install the cai but hoping in the next couple weekends to find time to get the rest and the tune installed as spring looks to be on it's way up here in South Dakota bout 2 weeks from now.

Oh yea, suppose I should throw up some pics of the car....

Welcome aboard the E.B.P.F Matt,nice lookin ride you have there and great choice going with Livernois Motorsports,as mentioned earlier you can go with an upgraded taller weather stripping which is considerably taller and better for sealing up the compartment,ordered mine a while ago and its a big improvment,and any questions you may have please feel free to ask partner,and best of luck with the new ride.Z.(also RICH SHOnUup)has a nice setup on his using insulation,maybe he will chime in later.

Heck yea, pleased to meet ya Pauly! Any mods done to yours? I plan on taking mine out to Thunder Valley one of the first weekends they open up here this spring, should let me know if you'd want to roll out there too, be cool to have another SHO owner with...I have a co-worker that has a stock 2010 SHO and think he's going to take his just for fun as he's never been drag racing before in his life..should make for a fun time.

I'd be in on that!  I've got a friend with an '01 WS6 who could use a beatin' by a group of 4 doors. Mine is pretty much stock too, but I have some extra cash ready to be burned ha!
