New Sho owner

Just picked a gently used 2014 Sho, I'm obviously in Las Vegas. This is my first chance to play with the ecoboost. I do own another turbo'd v6, but that's a black buick

.
One question I do have to start is...how do I tell if I have the p.p. option. I didn't get the build sheet.

Welcome!

Easiest way to tell if you have a PP SHO is the alcantara steering wheel, and a button to disable Advance Trak completely. The button is next to the power sunshade button.

Also, go here: http://www.fordf150.net/misc/window-sticker.php

Put in your VIN and you will get a copy of your original window sticker.

Welcome to EBPF, Anthony, glad to have you and your '14 SHO on board! I take it you have a GN? Tell us more! The PP will show up as optional equipment on the window sticker, for example:

Welcome aboard the E.B.P.F partner,post some pics of the new ride,easiest way to tell is by looking to make sure there is no spare tire in the trunk,only a kit,also the PP has Goodyear eagle f1's on there,best of luck and any questions you may have feel free to ask.

Its basically a 1.995.00 option which consists of better braking,oil cooler,etc http://www.roadandtrack.com/new-cars/first-drives/reviews/a18234/2013-ford-taurus-sho-with-performance-package/ some prefer the package and some dont,just a preference i guess,cause had both,your going to get a harsher and stiffer ride with the pp,the non pp has a smoother ride which appeals to most,love the G.N dude,had a silver 86 t-type,until it was stolen back in 89,miss that car.

Your buddy Brandon told me you picked one up. He's my Fedex driver and we always chat when he stops in. Im putting two and two together here because I know the '14 was at Guadin and he said you had a GN.

It was priced decent. Hopefully you did better. The 2010 looked pretty good too, also no PP.

I am that very guy. Small world. I dont see anything in your signature. Do you own an ecoboosted vehicle? I did decent, which means im still happy with the deal haha. Its been at my detailers for a few days getting paint correction and opticoating.Plan the usual mods to get better fuel economy when the ole ladies driving it and the fun stuff for when im driving it. Hopefully it balances it out ...haha

Nope , no ecoboost yet. I had my eyes on a white 2014, but it mysteriously has been taken of the market. Just kidding! I have to unload some other toys, but I'm fixing to get something soon. Check out my intro thread.
