How long was the install?  Did you do it on a lift?

yea I did it on a lift, it took about an hour. But I had to wait for it to cool down a little. It's a basic install.

Just be protective of the O2 sensor in the passenger-side pipe.  If it's really tight you may need a special socket. I believe it is safer to remove the sensor before dropping the stock pipe.

I think you're the first to install these. So I am curious to see if the larger diameter and price differential are worth it.

Thank for posting!

I think he's the first to have those DP,also he might be the first one to install them in an hour and letting them cool down, cause my first set on a lift took me two hours not being familiar with the setup and my car was relatively new and still had a hard time removing those bolts and o2 sensors, and had to purchase a pry bar for better access,my 2nd set took me a little over an hour cause of the antiseize which made it easier for removal of all the bolts and o2 sensors and also having the proper tools such as the long extension and prybar, made life a little easier the 2nd time around, guess your more skilled than me cause to me personally basic is changing the plugs which took me an hour the first time.

I'm pretty skilled mechanically. Afterall it is my lift at work.  I don't know how these compare to the 2.5" pipes, but I'm very pleased with them.

Do you really need a lift to install these, or would ramps work? When I had mine up last weekend changing the oil, it looked like I'd be able to swing it using just the ramps.

Thanks,
Nick

If you were talking about installing an exhaust maybe, but preferably a lift is needed to gain full access to the DP,good luck.

You could do it without a lift, but it's much much easier with the lift. It will take longer too.  Good luck

Btw, the cool down wasn't included in the install time. It took about 30min to cool down enough to start from the back and work my way to the turbos

No, the set came with 2 gaskets at the flex joints but they were too big to put on for the factory exhaust. I had to re-use all gaskets, which were still in good shape.  The only downfall of these pipes I see, is it may contact the bearing support for the r/f axle. It's a really tight fit.

FLOSHO, any update on the pipes rubbing the bearing support?
Any video of this setup? Im debating on doing this with either, PPE, Unleashed, or Livernois

Thanks!

I have checked the DP's and there is no clear indication to me that it has rubbed on any area.  So its a good fit!!
