Well I bit the bullet and purchased a Diablo sport handheld tuner 1-1000 for $311 from automating.com there were some really good reviews on Amazon and Sommit racing and the Diablo tuning home page. Hope it works out as well as the user reviews. Is anyone familiar with this tuner? This will be my first time using a device like this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have a K+N acai and am looking for a little more power nothing to radical. Thanks for your help.

I am not familiar with that tuning co,but honestly your best bet would be to read alot of user reviews and maybe get somewhat clues or ideas that people experienced or how they overcame any issues they had, good luck.

I'm not familiar with anyone using Diablo on a ecoboost.  But besides that they have been in business for a long time.  There products where popular with the GM W body crowd.  But we also had a guy that did custom tunes via there product.

Also that intake sounds cool but it's been shown to cost you power

Good luck.... I'd personally cancel the order and pay $400 to Torrie@Unleashed.

NO ONE on any of the SHO forums uses a DiabloSport, they work fine for Billy Bob wanting 15HP more on his Silverado, but wouldn't trust it with the EcoBoost.

I've heard of the Mopar crowd using these alot, but no ecoboost. SCT for datalogging tunes, Mycalibrator for Livernois tunes.

Yea I know they were big with trucks.

I'm holding out for HP Tuners. Even if I have to buy tunes off a vendor, I think that platform offers the most flexibility.

I had one for my 07 Escalade.  No complaints, but as said above, not for my Ecoboost when we have 2 proven tuners out there.   I will be interested in your findings though.

Well I hope I didn't make a big mistake by not going with Unleashed or LMS Tuning. It would cost $45 to return the Diablosport tuner. I read a lot of good user reviews on the Diablosport tuner 1-1000. I know a program is as good as the programer and Unleashed and LMS are the best on this forum, I just thought that Diablosport has been around a while and has really good customer support at the drag races I attend at Rt 66 (NMRA and NHRA events). There were also a lot of good user reviews on the Diablosport 1-1000  on Summit racing and Amazon.com.

Some one had to be first. I highly doubt you will have any problems with Diablo. Let us know how it runs

Thank you BigMaC, this is new to me I've never used a tuner before. I'm used to needles and jets on carburetors. You tune them by the seat of your pants and plug readings.(Dyno's were rare back then and expensive to use) . All of Diablosport products are made in house in the USA. So I hope all goes well. They have some big claims on their web site 70hp/93oct 60hp/91oct  46hp/87oct I will have no way of finding out if any of that is ture but I will post my seat of pants feel. Thanks  again everyone for your support. The tuner will be at my house on 1-19-15

Posted my response in the already going thread.
13' SHO, Non-PP, Tuned by Torrie, Meth injection, 3 bar, 170* stat, custom axle back exhaust, Prosport Boost gauge.
15' F150 Lariat Sport, all the options, 3.5L Eco. (fiancée ride.)
13' GTCS, will be missed.

Agree with Andy... (In other thread)... Based on available info  and  user feedback from F150 3.5, send it back and go with a proven tuner for the transverse 3.5TT EB. Safest and easiest thing to do.
