How many Taurus's are on the road?

Touche.

And not sure why I'm talking. The honeymoon phase with my SHO is about over. I want a manual trans back so badly. I knew better.

If you mowed the carpet once in a while, you'd gain at least 3/10's back LOL
2007 Ford Edge SEL, Powerstop F/R Brake Kit, TXT LED 6000K Lo & Hi Beams, W16W LED Reverse Bulbs, 3BSpec 2.5w Map Lights, 5W Cree rear dome lights, 5W Cree cargo light, DTBL LED Taillights

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

I thought I would miss a stick....didn't happen.

I'd like a couple more gears and paddles that aren't merely for decoration though...

Haha! I'm with you there.

I can't stand not being in total control of a high powered, AWD vehicle. The auto in my other vehicles fits. In the SHO, I consistently long for a manual.

I actually don't miss the manual stang. Especially on out of town adventures.

Every time I get behind the wheel of my Taurus, I remember exactly why I got rid of my Genesis Coupe. The ride is sublime!

I haven't driven a Mustang in a couple generarions. Are they pretty decent,  aside from performance? Spacious, comfortable, quiet, well equipped, etc.?

I have driven one other than this one. It was a mid 2000 mach 1. The clutch was heavy as s***, body roll was pretty bad, but sounded amazing. No way I would have bought one. Honestly the only reason I considered the new one was the power train and IRS. Previous vehicle was a mazdaspeed3 and the mustangs engine is very similar. I drove one the day I ordered it, not a performance package though. Interior is so much nicer than they used to be. Quality is and comfort really is up there with the SHO, though it is lacking in the headroom department. The car is certainly wide enough inside, I'm a big guy and felt comfortable. Handling felt pretty crisp though I didn't push it too hard. The premium models come well equipped, with sc/heated seats and ambient lighting. Only feature that won't carry over from the SHO will be blis and the sunroof. As far as the sound, its def not loud but has a presence. Road noise is minimal and the exhaust note is enhanced through the speakers. Suspension was firm but not harsh. I maintained my teeth over 2  smaller potholes. Its for sure a drivers car, not just for the stereotypical mustang crowd.

No blis? Damn... that's how I go flying though lanes of traffic. Maybe I rely on it to much. Lol

Its an option with the better shaker audio system. It was either 1700 or 2000. I love blis, its just not worth that to me.
