I've been stocking out my car the past couple weeks in an effort to make it more trade in friendly. Finally came to terms with a dealer on trade while waiting for the car to come in. Got a white premium with the performance package. Going to trade in the x3 for the x4 and have Torrie work his magic. I will accumulate parts as they come out through the holiday season and hopefully have it on the road regularly come spring. My methanol kit is waiting anxiously as well :)

Congrats on the purchase!

Can't wait for the stories to come.

Looks like you are the first member with an ecoboost mustang!

Congrats, How much was? I'm curious why not get gt and mod down the road. More power, and I would assume better drivetrain all the way around for supporting more power. Nevertheless, ecoboost will be quick too with some mods.

30540, xplan. I'm no really a v8 kind of guy. Or a mustang guy either... Mainly bought it for the powertrain... Lol

Lms went 11.8 today on race gas tune... Fast as the previous coyotes bolted and tuned.

True, but didn't they went to the extreme of pulling the front seats out and drag radials? But still fast.

IHeartGroceries

Yeah that is ridiculous for a little 4 pot, with essentially no more than a good tune and traction. Congrats on the purchase.

It'll be fun for a while. But it's still pretty humdrum. There'll be a million on the road in a year. I'll look for you.

The 11.8 had passenger seat out, race fuel, drag wheels, "stock catback removed".

How many Taurus's are on the road? The tuned SHO is a fast exception but comparing apples to apples it's a similar scenario. Drag radials and removing a seat are far from extreme when you are at a drag strip, lol

The SHO needs to lose about 4-5 ft of car at the strip....lol...heavy it is

If you could get 1000 pounds off the SHO, maintain comfort, and give it a manual, I would keep it. Lol

Yeah I don't want much... Lol. I know I can't be the only one bored stiff driving an auto

Looks like you want a Gen I-II SHO ;)
2007 Ford Edge SEL, Powerstop F/R Brake Kit, TXT LED 6000K Lo & Hi Beams, W16W LED Reverse Bulbs, 3BSpec 2.5w Map Lights, 5W Cree rear dome lights, 5W Cree cargo light, DTBL LED Taillights

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!
