With many tuning success stories well underway on this new member of the ecoboost family, what's everyone's thoughts on it?

Looks promising and I wonder if this new interest might open up some more ventures by companies on our platforms/and what might actually fit ours right off the bat?

Just saw this package already.

Our platform has been around now for 5 years, SHO's do not get a lot of aftermarket love. They are not as sexy as the Mustang nor do they have the history of the Mustang which has been the most modified car probably in the history of cars. There are many more Mustangs sold than SHO's so I believe what you see is what you get. Now if Ford puts this same motor in future SHO's then most of these aftermarket performance parts will be available for the SHO.
2013 SHO Non PP, LMS 93 Performance v8, 3 Bar MAP, 170 Stat, MDesign CAI, Hot Pipes with TiAL BOV, PPE Catted Downpipes

Wouldn't be so bad to have a Fusion with the 2.3EB & AWD :D
2007 Ford Edge SEL, Powerstop F/R Brake Kit, TXT LED 6000K Lo & Hi Beams, W16W LED Reverse Bulbs, 3BSpec 2.5w Map Lights, 5W Cree rear dome lights, 5W Cree cargo light, DTBL LED Taillights

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

It is absurd that we have gotten NO LOVE from FRPP.

Luckily our esteemed vendors have picked up their slack.

I'm trading my SHO for one.

For me its between the EB Mustang and the new WRX. Both have their upsides!
I don't have an EB but I am an avid modder and happy to help the community and learn/grow.  Pretty good with audio and wheels, my build and discussion threads are here in the forum.  2013 Flex AWD N/A

I'd like to see how a tuned 2.3 does vs the 5.0 tuned.

I would consider the ecoStang now since the interior is upgraded. Just not sure if I want 2wd again.
13' SHO, Non-PP, Tuned by Torrie, Meth injection, 3 bar, 170* stat, custom axle back exhaust, Prosport Boost gauge.
15' F150 Lariat Sport, all the options, 3.5L Eco. (fiancée ride.)
13' GTCS, will be missed.

I don't know...after seeing that sucker that LMS tuned run a 12.6 1/4 mile pass...
That's sick, tune only.
Unless driveline components or the trans is weak, I think I'd heavily favor the Rustang. That's some serious torque that LMS car was churning out. And you have to think, you'll be looking at 500 ft lbs pretty quick, after some bolt on mods, or (if possible) a tune on E.

By the way, are there similar fuel limitations on these things? Are they maxing fuel delivery or are they just maxing efficiency with these tunes?
