Yea that's why I said -the delivery.
I have been back and forth in emails with them, always being polite. I'm not knocking these guys product in any way, I definitely love what it has done for my sport. But I do think my experience with their customer service has been subpar. Again, great product, I just personally feel like their customer service could really use some improvement. I dropped a little over 3k that included the tune, CAI, dp and exhaust, but this alone is more than that?
I may end up doing a diy kit afterall, I was just hoping to continue to give these guys business and save myself the headache, unfortunately at this point it doesn't look like the latter will be the case
Edit: I edited my post to not seem so biased against LMS, that was not my intention. Again I do indeed believe they make good products (as you can see from my sig I own a few). Plus I do not want to hijack this thread
Truthfully, the biggest issue is how far you are away. You are nearly 2,000 miles from us, and when we do a transport we leave from our facility, come to you, come back, and then do it again when the vehicle is done. So that's 8,000 miles of driving.
Our dually gets 9.5 MPG with our trailer behind it, diesel was 3.93 when we did the estimate. It also uses urea injection and will use about 5 gallons of it (it costs about $50 for this much urea). Now, factor food at 50/day (for 8 days, 4 days each trip), hotel stays (8 total, 4 per trip due to DOT "on duty" restrictions), tolls (approximately 350, 175 each time we are out), and we are at 4909 without factoring any wear/tear or even paying the person driving the vehicle.
Now, as far as looking at pricing on things. Pricing on the estimates on vehicle packages will never make sense when singling out an individual line item. Our estimates are always engineered to meet x amount of dollars. Sometimes you will see an estimate that has a part for hundreds of dollars more than retail, sometimes it will be below our cost. Why? because they are place holders. Just like the $50 discount. It's not actually $50, it's just a placeholder designating that you are getting a repeat customer discount.
Think of it like this.
A+B+C= 150. the =150 is the only number that matters to us. A, B, C can be any mix of numbers so long as they hit $150...
