Best nicknames you've heard for cars like ours...

I'm talking about for big, beefy, powerful cars like the SHO/MKS-EB, Charger RT/SRT8s, previous gen CTS-V, etc.

i've heard of Boss Hog, and Champ Cruiser.

Since i've done some of my mods, a couple people said my car looks like the Thunder Tank. LOL...

Ford Taurus....

I always smack the s*** out of someone who calls my damn car a Ford Taurus.

Annoys the living piss out of me. I don't even use the word Taurus; I drive a Ford S-H-O.

Taurus? Didn't realize that name had such a stigma. It is, afterall, a... Taurus.

Taurus was obviously better than "500". Plus, there are quite a few critics of Ford's original abandonment of the Taurus name plate.

The one thing that's always said to me by strangers who approach me about the car is, "Dang, the Taurus has come a long way."

I've been calling mine iron horse lately. But I haven't officially or formally named it. Haha! Hell, if I am speaking to somebody else about it, I usually just call it "The Ford" or, *gasp* "The Taurus. O_o

I agree. Doesn't anyone remember the original Taurus was Motor Trend's car of the year? And that it was a game changer in design as it was the first car to move away from the boxy cars of the day? When people ask me what I drive I simply say twenty ten Taurus S-H-O.
