Show me your window tint!

We don't have inspections in Michigan. Nothing below 4" is legal on anything in front of the B-Pillar though. So my car is quite illegal. I haven't gotten a ticket for tint ever though. And I'm seeing more and more cars with the windshield tinted, which is why I decided to give it a go. Hopefully I get to keep it for a long time because I'm digging it. Wish I could find a doctor to give me a letter.

It may benefit me in this matter that my wife is an attorney.

Went limo tint all around I think it's 15% no windshield though, big no no with cops

I used Lumar 20 percent ceramic tint all around,comes with lifetime warranty.

Anybody have a winshield tint banner? Preferably which drops to the AS1 line?

You are probably after a Taurus, but i had the banned on my last MKS.

Here is what it looked like inside. Another shot in the galleries too. That is 4" though, a bit below the AS1.

5% on a dark road or area, you really can't see anything at night. 20% is as dark as I would go, too dark of tint makes the car look like a G ride. Which is good......if your gangsta.

Very true. I'm thankful for the backup camera at night. And I have to be a bit more careful at intersections at night for pedestrians. Looking out the 20% sides is pretty dark. I was going to get 35 on the windshield but my tinter suggested doing 50. I'm glad I took his advice.

Tinted today. Decided on 55% front (one shade darker than legal on IA) and 5% rear.
