Well I had a blast.  Pretty cool night and rain was forecast so turnout was pretty low.  Got 6 runs in.   Now I know my times are not anything special to you guys with a best of 13.57 but at bandimere it's pretty damm fast. When the mustang and f body guys look at the Taurus guy with jealousy because I have to wear a helmet.  Funny stuff..   couple of Nissan GTR running high 11s.  wicked Subaru WRX 10second car

13.57 isn't bad at all! What mods do you have?

Do you have the DA for last night? That makes a big difference. Not a bad time at all!

Nice, you would probably be mid 12' if you got to sea level. The DA for me last night was 1100 and I ran a 12.73. DA makes a huge difference on our cars :)

I'm very happy with my time.  My grand prix gxp that I had a dyno tune with hp tune cutout after the resonator and a sealed home made intake ran a best time of. 15.1x at Bandimere. The grand prix would be down around 100hp to the sho but it was 600-700 pounds lighter. So you get some idea to why I wanted a forced induction car..  especially a Turbo charged one.

Just seeing this.  Your 13.5x @ 102mph is very impressive at Bandimere.  I'm glad to see your times, this confirms the SHO is the right car for me.  I live at almost 8,500', so turbos are a must if you don't want to lose 25% of your HP!

I have a 2012 Sonata 2.0T currently and someone posted on the Sonata boards his best at Bandimere in a Sonata 2.0T was 16.1-16.3 @ 91-92mph.  Temps were 72F.  I believe DA was 8152'.  I'm sure your SHO would have been in the high 13s on that night.

The DA gets out of control at Bandimere. There was a guy running a tune and intake Jetta gli that night running 15.3

Always fun to see what other cars do on the same night.  See any Infiniti G37x's or BMW 335xi's?

Keep an eye for a 2013+ SHO for me!  I'm about to fly to Dallas or Omaha.  I'm kinda picky...can't be red/green, must have PP+Contour Seats+Sunroof+Nav.  Could go without PP if it has adaptive cruis/col warning.

Once I get my SHO, I'd love to meet some other SHO owners at Bandimere for some fun.  I wonder if I have my old drag racing helmet, used to have one when I raced my old 2006 GTO.  Do they check the Snell sticker on the helmet?  Might be too old.
