Alright guys...this has been a long time coming. I'll try to be brief.

Some people here like LMS and what they post...some don't.
There's bound to be disagreements. No way around it.
The Loyal vs. the Skeptics, battle is on every forum since ever. But the two sides have it out, and move on. Something we've been unable to do.

EBPF is unique due to our small size and tight knit group of members. Because of this we are more personal with each other. Both good and bad.
It's because it's so personal with a wealth of technical knowledge and similar goals, I love it here...
Most of the time we're all here for each other and we've got each other's backs...we're here to help our fellow members along.
But The Great Divide exists, and it's name is LMS.

What's important is: how do we make it better?
Nobody likes these pi**ing matches. Myself included. But they're easy to get caught up in when you've reached your limit of other's bickering. I'm guilty here too.

We need to keep spirited debate...open minds...uncensored creative thinking...and a hunger for knowledge. All without drama. Certainly there are steps to be taken.

I'll start...
EVERYONE NEEDS TO CHILL THE **** OUT!! ;)

Perfectly said.
We have become too sensitive around the subject.
Asking for more info on a topic, statement or product is great. We have to try and remember when a question is asked it is more likely out of "curiosity" and the "need to learn" than skepticism and distrust.

This would make a big difference.

Bigmoneycloser ... what you are saying I agree with 100% .

Often times these disagreements,  arguments stem from the way it is interpreted and who is presenting the questions .
Even though you are an ardent LMS supporter both of us have 0 issues communicating with each other via PM about options that are available from ALL Vendors and we do so in a civil manner with decorum .

I have noticed some good questions never get answered because they get lost in a thread. And we all loose out on information because of this.  I don't blame lms for not wanting to go through 5 pages of back and forth between members just to find one real comment or question directed at them.

What I would like to have in the software is a capability to have a "sidebar conversation" capability.  So you could keep the main topic clear of posts that do not directly contribute to that topic, and still have the "non-related" posts attached to the topic for viewing.

Thoughts?  Anybody seen forums/sites that can do this?

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

I'm very pleased with my LMS tune and I'm sure Unleashed offers a great product too.

so really who freakin cares.

If I was in the market now I'd want to see someone race two identical tune only SHO's one with each vendor's tunes. I'd get the tune from the SHO that won. Simple. Either way my SHO runs great.
2013 PP SHO LMS 93V10 tune, 170* T stat, 3bar, K&N drop in, plugs re-gapped, 4in exhaust tips.
UPDATE - 130K miles =blown engine. Unleashed tune and EBPP upgrade turbo billet wheels / Turbo Smart WGA's on a bran new long block. Let's get this SHO on the road !

I think over the years I have always given them credit where credit is due, and we disagree on very few things, so I generally have no debates w/them. They are one of the largest in terms of volume, so that makes it difficult to have uniform results in all areas for any shop that size.  I just would like a very cordial discussion from them on oil ingestion and PCV/Crankcase evacuation  functions.  Taking the time to discuss it I think would clear alot of confusion for the public.
