I just need to understand what needs to be quantified. I am completely baffled to what this forum wants from its vendors. LMS comes on and tells you that SHO 's are having an engine failure and everyone is questioning their honesty and integrity like they have done nothing for this platform. At the same time a new company comes to light in a thread by the name of Tuning by James  and when I question their ability to tune these vehicles with no known track record  I get jumped on for just expressing my opinion on their capabilities, which I can handle if there is a consistency in the stance and position of others towards vendors. There is definitely a bias here that is felt and heard by members outside of myself.
And before people come and say I have a love of LMS, I would gladly back pretty much all of the vendors out there on this forum. Just feel I need to fight the good fight as I know that LMS don't live and die by this forum and I personally have had nothing short of an excellent experience with all of their products and support after purchase.

Your response was "jumped" due to a lack of tact, and abrasive choice of wording... Not your lack of faith.
All we're asking for is constructive conversation...

I was referring to the engineering side of things.  As enthusiasts, we share data in our quest to get better results, bottom line.  Performance and/or longevity, whatever suits the individual.

Discussions should be data-centric, not vendor-centric.  Vendors are a source of information, just like ornery members.  Your choice to take it or leave it.  Have your say ONCE and leave it at that.  Nobody needs to nag anybody into submission, we are all adults here, and understand that we all think differently.

To all who care to pay attention:  do not turn this into another vendor against vendor thread.  That is simply not the intention, and does not do anybody any good.

As for LMS... Nobody is discrediting what they are saying... Just asking for further clarification. The only reason it was moved is because it's not "news".

Nobody said they were lying or staying false information... But they stated a conclusion and I for one wanted to know how/why they arrived at that conclusion.

Basically it comes down to a few members, most of whom are administrators, that try to control every thread built around LMS to try and reign in members like myself that back them. Why can I not defend them? Do I not respectfully disagree and put my voice out there in an intelligent manner that reinforces my point of view?

FoMoCoSHO, SHOdded, and myself are the only Admins / mods at this time... Other than mike. And mike hasn't really had any interaction at all with these threads. I don't think we've been attempting to control anything and honestly I don't think you could ask for a fairer, more levelheaded, objective group of guys than my two coworkers.

You're welcome to defend whomever you like... I just don't see a need to defend someone when nobody is being attacked. My only possible explanation is that you're reading into a persecutive tone that just isn't there.

As far as respectful and intelligently disagreeing... I wouldn't call shooting down someone's questions about a product option with the post...

Why am I so adamant about clearing the air?? Because I'm personally sick of having to defend myself every time I move an LMS thread, or ask a question. It's absolutely bogus.

Nobody said one word to FoMoCoSHO when he moved TCEs offer for a discounted set of brakes out of general info and under their own category... But I move an LMS thread out of news and under their own category, plus went out of my way to provide what I felt to be a very neutral response justifying why I was moving it (which I shouldn't have had to do to begin with) and it starts it all over again.

I'm not saying you have to ask the same questions, or even want to know the answers. But stop telling me I'm attacking them. Difference of opinion is encouraged... That's what grows the knowledge base... But making it into a _____ vs. LMS war every time a question is asked isn't helping anything.

The ONLY thing I was pointing out with my "doubt", is that this goes against what this forums current opinion / knowledge of the platform is. Not that it's untrue. More surprised this is the first we're hearing of this than anything.

SRT8... Are you surprised they haven't seen a blown f150? Have you heard of a blown transverse?

How many members on this site and members with friends not on this site but with ecoboost??
I would guess LMS is the largest ecoboost tuning company in the country with the largest amount of research and data on our vehicles.
So here is some reality... Their "opinion" carries a great deal weight whether they provide facts/data or not. Their facts or data is proprietary. They spent the time and money to get it.
There is not one person on this site that has logged as many hours of research, time or money as they have.

This is not a slam on anyone on this site. My statements may even be wrong. But they are exactly that, my opinion.
The people on this site that are also pushing the envelope some even farther then LMS in some cases.
We all have a common goal. Speed and power. I think we all need to take it down a notch and not be so technical about statements being made and who can prove what.
LMS, torrie, TCE, RX.... Can all help get us what we all want...
But if we start acting like high girls bitching each other out..... They will tire of us and walk away.. Along with members...
I think most of us can agree the "active" venders on this site are honest, trustworthy and doing the right thing for members and their customers.
So let's all play nice... Because honestly, I find myself not reading threads because I don't want to hear all the bickering... I can go to the local high school for that...

So if a difference of opinion is encouraged just let me voice my concerns on the topic and you can do the same. Just don't try to reign in my opinions if they conflict with yours or others.
