My 2013 doesn't have the shifter in diagram 3. It is the one in diagram 2. I really like the T-shifter and would love to retro it.

Now that you mention it, I don't know where that third shifter belongs.  If you have paddles, why a button?  I'll have to do some more digging.  You may be able to retro the T. 

My Rental Fusion had the one like diagram 3.

Yeah, I like mine fine.  Originally, I was looking in to swapping the 13 shifter into the 12.  But, now it looks like those with 13s might want to do the T handle.  Funny how some things turn. 

Besides the handle to activate the gear selector, I don't remember seeing buttons on mine.

I'm ordering the t-handle; going to see if I can get it into my car.

I really want the t-handle in my 13!
