I asked , It was only for a similar Michelin. They ended up giving me MXM4

How did you contact them?

Steel Blue Metallic
LMS stage 4 tune

I contacted Michelin directly. They said I had to go to a Michelin dealer and have them confirm the issue.
My local ford dealer then contacted Michelin and filed the appropriate paperwork for the claim. They handled it from there.

I have toyo proxes +4 and am happy so far with them even though they are new. treadwear is rated at 55000 miles...of course with my driving they wont make them anywhere near that. But noise is non existent and they stick well.

Picked up a set of Kumho Escta 4Xs for $137.00 a piece from tirerack.

they were on closeout.  plus comes with a $60 visa check card.

grand total with shipping was $623.50 - the 60 = $563.50

not bad, especially considering they come with 40K tread warranty and 'free' road hazzard assistance (whatever that means).

i believe there are still some in stock, hopefully they will perform well...

Update:

I could not be more pleased with the G-Max tires. They handled everything that was thrown at them with ease through our harsh winter. I've pushed them pretty hard on dry pavement and they are surprisingly sticky. The MKS is about to turn 52k miles, so I've logged about 7k miles since I had them installed in January. I'll be putting another 1k+ miles on them over the course of this weekend. The tires are currently showing zero signs of wear.

Well I have been following this thread with interest as my stock F1's were looking very thin this spring when I swapped out the Blizzaks. Wouldn't you know I get a TPMS warning yesterday on the way to work, looked at all 4 corners and they appear fine. Ehhh I figure maybe one is low, will check them when I go home. Come out to the parking garage that afternoon - rear pass tire flat as a pancake...gahh!!!! Pump her up using the compressor (I have PP so no spare) and get it home, put some air in it, head out to our ballgame (I coach 2x softball teams). This morning - flat again so I run to the local tire shop to see if its repairable - nope cut in the inside sidewall.

SOOOO long story short (I know too late right) They can get me A) another set of Goodyear F1's OR B) Cooper Zeon RS3-S. Cooper are $30/corner cheaper and the F'1 suck for wear so I am going with the RS3-S.

I will get some pics of them on today and give updates as the summer progresses....online reviews seem good, other than maybe they wear a bit quick. Can't be any worse than the F1's.

Glad you went with the GMAX's Joleat, I am loving them too. The way they shed water is amazing, drove through a heavy rainstorm with them and it felt as if it were dry. The GMAX's have already proven themselves, now the only question is how well they will wear. I would def buy them again.

update on my Kumho tires:

after getting my new wheels and tires rebalanced at Merchants, due to a low level vibration i was feeling starting at 65mph, i can report that the Escta tires are performing very well!  their grip is far superior to the OEM Primacies!  although when i purchased the car the Michilens had around 30K on them already, so IDK how they perform when new.  i think the 255 tread width really helps with our cars and improves handling.  we've had alot of rain recently (apart of the terrible weather system that has reaked havoc on the southeast in recent days), the Kumhos have handled it excellently!  tire noise is a little louder than the OEM Michilens, but still very quiet.  I get much more 'feel' from these tires coming from the steering wheel, which i like but some (particularly most MKS buyers) might prefer complete isolation.  the ride is still quite compliant and supple, but not numb like before.

now the cons:  i do notice a significant increase in noise level when these tires go over concrete or steel bridges.  i did not notice such a difference with the Primacies.  also, although i like the looks of the 255 tread width alot, especially the way it fills the wheel wells and generally makes the tires and black wheels look beefy and big; i am concerned when i lower the car with my H&R springs, there might be some clearance issues.  hopefully this won't be the case...

sorry, but i haven't figured out how to post attachments correctly.  i know some are seeing x's or ?s when i inset an image.  i'll eventually figure it out lol.

Any updates on the tires?  Getting ready to replace my Michelins mxm4.....again.
Right now it's between continental dws, cooper zeon rs-3 A and  general g-max.

I'll be going with the 255/45/20 all around.
