Trouble with key pad entry

my 2013 SHO was just in for this.  They had to replace the outside trim because it contains the pad.  Said my 6/7 buttons didn't work.

Bot a big deal, except took them 2 tries and 3 days to get all the correct parts.
2013 SHO w/pp
     -35% tint
     -relay wired to have parking lights on any time car is running
     -SCTx4 (Torrie Tune)

It's acting like that might be the case but every button I punch lights up the pad ... the other weird thing it does is I can lock the whole car up by just pressing the 7/8 button ...no need to hit 0/9 with it  ???

I have been locking mine by putting my thumb between the 7/9 and the 0/9 for the last few years. That works much better for me than trying to hit both spots with two fingers. Someone gave me that trick on a forum and explained to me that it was a trick he learned from older Fords that used the same keypads. Just relaying what I was told and has worked well for me.
