Installed LMS 93CW tune today on my 2014 sho w/ pp after install and this had only happened 3 times but I fear it will continue but when u put car in sport mode and hammer it it fails to shift into next gear and just holds at red line it did it twice from 1st to 2nd and once from 2nd to 3rd... I either have to shift manually or put back in drive. I don't want to mess anything up so figured I'd ask Ok here if it's just a matter of the tune needing broke in or is there a possible issue with the tune.. I'll monitor it and see what happens.. I'm hoping it's just needing to get broken in and adjust the shift times to the tune... car is supposed to shift on its own unless I override and shift manually. .. any thoughts on issue???

I think somebody else had this issue also.

I would just flash back to stock till they can tweak the tune for you.

Most guys have to have their trans re-learn after a tune.  I have bounced off the rev limiter once or twice.

Do you have track package? Mine does this every time unless I turn off AdvancedTrac. Then she pulls and shifts like a.... well I can't say.

Yes I have the performance package or track package u say ... I'll probably just keep an eye on it and if it keeps up or gets worse then I'll contact Anthony

Definitely allow the trans to relearn a little, but as others have said this is likely advancetrac stepping in, turning it off is usually all that is needed to address it.

Not to be disrespectful, but I would not be pleased if I had a tune and I was told that I would need to disable a safety feature for it to work properly. Hopefully, the transmission relearn will solve the issue. Otherwise, I would request that the tune be refined until the issue is no longer present. Having your transmission hang up on you while merging onto a busy highway could be disastrous.

Yep, Livernois is right.

It definitely engages the nanny when you have it on and do that stuff. I think it has to do with the insane boost and rapid acceleration that the system gets confused and thinks something is wrong.

I always turn it off when I want to have fun. I've learned to master shutting it off while driving by triggering the brake and holding button. LOL

Joleat,

That's not valid, this behavior only happens from 1-2 due short range gear on track package. I have no issues dropping hammer at rolling speeds with AdvancedTrac. I've got 15k on my tune and zero issues.

The OP states that it has not only occurred during the 1-2 shift, but also the 2-3 shift.

I actually did just speak to the calibrator to make certain my information is up to date. It is but we do have a tune that should help even more. It's something we have been working on recently and we have it ready now for those that run into the problem from time to time.

Joleat

That is excellent news for those who are experiencing this problem. Checking into the problem further and uncovering an update is also a great display of customer support. *thumbs up*
