It's in!

Just waiting on the tune now.

I fired it up, tried to listen for any loose parts--I pretty much clamped everything down. The filter adapter that has that foam piece between it and airbox concerned me as I tightened it, it kinda smooshed over the edges; hopefully it's sealed. I also couldn't exactly get the big ass box to "snap" into the holes like the factory box does that it's sits on--either way it's in where it should be and is bolted down in front.

Excuse the photos; taken with my S4 and I was a little dirty (along with lens, didn't see it). I tried to touch them up some to make them not look so shitty.

WOOT; come on tuning, need my TUNE!

How do I load this thing? Is there software somewhere for the MyCal?

Yes, I am getting it detailed this weekend LOL.

If I remember correctly, when you plug your SCT into the USB on your computer, it will download drivers and prompt you to download Updater.  Then you open Updater and load your tune files.

AirRaid looks good.  Big box.

I have a MyCal, not an SCT.

DAMN; I forgot to put the rubber on! HAHA; remind myself to do that when I go out to load tune.

If you were close to me, I'd smack you in face right now!

There are no instructions, LMAO. Come on man, I'm a senior manager in IT; I ain't a moRAN.

Hmm, Imma plug this damn thing into my computer and see what it does.

I called them; they'll send me the link in email.

Why so secretive over a tuner? Do they own this turner or something?

I would want you to hurt your hand.  Besides, I owed you one for that "weird emblem" comment.

Here's a present for you.

HAHAHAH ;you still holding that against me? LMAO

I still think you're awesome, even though I secretly laugh about the emblem. ;)

In all fairness, it looks good.

DJE624

LOL  I took it off weeks ago.  You're okay in my book.  I'm glad you came over.  Okay no more homo.  I won't laugh at your plate either.

Anyway, I hope you get the tunes.  It's getting late.

geswek

Hah.

I think maybe tomorrow or Monday.

Took the car out, seems more response with the new intake. The rubber crap was a pain to put on.

DJE624

Those rubbers are always hard to put on.(?)  They like to kink on the Typhoon.   Can you tell how good it seals up under the hood? I don't think the Typhoon seals very good, all the way around.  AirRaid has a better box.  I was maybe going to get one but I don't know.  The stock box is sealed good except for the intake at the front of the hood.  I'm sure it sounds better and looks good though.

Yeah, it was tough--I need to check it and see how it sits. I may need something like super glue to hold it on; some spots kept sliding up.

The damn tapatalk quick reply thing is pissing me off; I typed up everything again in that box and it didn't post.

The sound has changed a lot in my opinion; both intake and exhaust--car was a lot louder than I recall. It also drove different, don't know if it's because of the sudden open mouth of air it's getting now. I ran home on highway in S mode and she had a lot more pep and was holding gears better.

I can't wait to get the tune in it; I imagine it's going to respond 20x better. I really hope this opens the door.

I spoke to Andy this afternoon about turbo and meth; I'm debating on either the windshield washer bottle up front of a 4 gallon fuel cell in back. I think if I put fuel cell in back, I will need to firewall the rear of trunk (which I am fine with as I don't have any real interest in putting my back seats down ever). I'll just go rent a uhaul truck if I need to haul anything big.
