An interesting read on big performance sedans with the Chevy SS and Chrysler 300 SRT:

Too bad the SHO/MKS is not set up to run with these guys straight from the factory.

Good read!  I would have enjoyed seeing the SHO in the mix.

I would like to see a downpipe + tune equipped SHO be thrown into a large sedan compare-article.

I think a SHO with a tune puts it the same league on the strip and in the braking numbers. Seems like there is still a shortcoming when it comes to skidpad and figure eight numbers though.

Interesting read.  Most interesting was another example of ignoring the SHO... performance not withstanding as reviewed It would have been interesting to see head to head comparison of the EB 3.5 TT V6 in a car weighing over 4000 lbs with the two V8's in lighter cars.

With performance not being the only comparison, I think with the tech, comfort, mileage of the SHO in the mix, my thought is it should be appreciated for doing so many things so well.

the SHO is more of a RT vs SRT8 competitor.

and reguardless of what some may think (even on this forum it seems), the SHO-PP out handles the rwd Charger RT; going by the only apt comparisons i've seen, which are the California and Michigan Police sedan testing.  The AWD Interceptor is consistently faster than the RWD Charger-Pursuit on the track and 0-60.  the Police models serve as the basis for their civilian counterparts.

i have no idea why magazines refuse to compare the SHO or MKS against its natural competitors!

Hopefully Ford will offer a super version of the SHO when the new model debuts.  seeing how easy and inexpensive it is to increase power and enhance handling (tune and springs).  and then reviewers will have no excuse to exclude Ford's offerings...
