DP'S rite now

At my ford store putting them on. First thing I'm seeing is the absents of thermal wrap on the PPE's. Going to continue and if we think it necessary, I guess I can just wrap them later. Also writing Steps  and taking photos

Super news... congrats!

Heat is a concern I have.  I ordered the thermal coated ones.  dyno testing of one versus the other is planned tentatively for about 1 Mar to see how much difference, if any, it makes.

•2013 Taurus SHO nonPP - All Ford factory options, 3BAR MAP, LMS v8 tune (mods for 3BAR, DPs, and T-stat), Paint & plastic correction, CQuart finest all exterior surfaces, limo black window tint,VLED Triton switchbacks, Daytime BrightLites switchback DRLs, full interior and exterior LED conversion, Lamin-X charcoal blackout tail lights and reflectors, PPE catted and coated downpipes, EBPP coated hotpipes with BoVs VTA, MDesign CAI
•2013 F250 CC Lariat 6.7EB Diesel -stock

Wraps not recommended, they have been known to trap moisture and lead to rust.  Go with coatings instead.

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

Was thinking more like shield blanket wrap type, not tape. Anyway got it done. Had to weld a new bung on and fix another. I'll get more detail in a bit just thought I report completion. Ice and snow pretty heavy but I can tell there is a lot more throttle response

So you had not problem with fitment on your car? Everything bolted right up?
As far as wrapping, reason to, the downpipes run cooler than stockers and cool much much faster than stock pieces.

I just wish people would stop referring to their downpipes at "DP's", if you know what I am saying....
