I booked a hotel in Mechanicsburg, which is approx 20min from the event grounds.

I would say that anyone booking anywhere, will encounter difficulty in finding availability of open rooms.

When I booked back in November, almost every hotel in Carlisle was booked solid.

That was 7 mo.'s in advance!

So yes, better to call sooner than later. From what I understand, there were over 2k vehicle entries last year.

So to say this is literally a MAJOR EVENT would be stating it mildly.

Registered and going.  No idea on accommodations yet tho.

I am going, planning on registering within the next few days, would like to take advantage of the discount. I am fairly sure that I will be staying at home, since it's only about 75 minutes from the show. As Mike said, you should look for a room now, almost everything around is booked up to a year in advance. If you can't find anything close to the show, I do know of some places closer to my house, but it will mean about an hour drive.

Got reservations today at the Days Inn in Carlisle.

Hi guys, sorry been nuts at work this past month at work, we got swamped and was working a lot of OT.  The only break was to ride sled one day.  I will be doing my sign up soon.  Yes, rooms are Carlisle book up fast on show weekends.  Oh yeah, I got lucky, for someone who made couple cool SHO logos.  I asked him to go off one of him designs for a tshirt for the event weekend.  Here is what he came up with.  I asked him to add Carlisle 2014 under the car logo.  That will be the back of the shirt and the other one will be on the front.  Hope you guys like.

Thanks for the reminder about the holiday sale, Mike...just finished registering myself so I could take advantage of the discount.  Once again, registered under Liberty SHO Club and as a modified Taurus SHO, since they are not specific about the mods!

I am in for 2 T's myself with that logo, Brian!  And glad to see you are now registered, Mike!  Our little band is sure to make some noise at the Nationals this year

Almost forgot...I do like the T's! Great design, very nice, I would love to get a couple but I need like 4 or 6XL....

I love the shirt, but I'd change the color of the 2nd gen SHO to a lighter color or change the background...green isn't going to show up too well against a black back ground

I would really love to go but, I don't think I'll be able to.  Maybe someone would be kind enough to grab me a shirt.
