Sorry for the delay guys. I was really tired when I got home. Between DC traffic and thinking about why my car wouldn't 60ft, my brain was fried. So my first run of the day ended up being the best. I ended up getting a personal best 60ft and best ET with no methanol. Then the rest of the it was trying to figure out tire pressure and launch RPMs. You will see on the last slips, I got it somewhat figured out. Still not great.
Since this was a private rental, they must of really paid to prep, because they did. They sprayed VHT all the way out to the 330 mark. When I pulled up for my first run, I thought the car broke because she was struggling to stage. I could let off the brakes and the car wouldn't move, I had to use the accelerator pedsl stage the car, not by stage bumping in with the brakes. We all like good prep but dam.
BJ and I left early due to not wanting to deal with rush hour traffic and some of the other driver's were complaining that we were ruining the starting line. So we left, I know dam well we weren't the issue. Other cars were leaving just fine.
When I got home, I texted the owner of BeaverSprings. He told me too much prep is as bad as not enough, so, so there is that fine line. So could of our cars performed better, with less prep, who knows.
Overall had a great trip, to hang out with good friends and BJ opening his house to me to crash, was priceless. So I'm ending race season with this trip. I hit 3 major personal goals this year. First was the dyno run, then hitting 12.2s locally with no meth, and 12.14 at MIR with no methanol. I'd say it was a good year. So time to clean the SHO up, get her ready to hibernation.
