Hello, I had a friend give me a push bar off of a CV. It looks like I could easily make it fit my car.
The front brackets are still on mine, but the push bar was removed before I bought it.
So I am looking for opinions! Put it on or leave it off? My son says put it on, I'm on the fence.

Yes, off, it makes the whole car look clumsy at the front end. Besides unless you plan on pit maneuvering another car it really will service no purpose but adding weight and messing with the aerodynamics....

Although if he were to use it to execute PITT maneuvers, that might make for some pretty awesome video footage there of.

Hahaha.

I was looking at those for my PI out of curiosity one day and read in a couple of places that they could cause more damage to your car in the event of a wreck than without one. I thinks it's due to the mounting locations. Something else to consider I guess.

I guess most importantly if it makes your Son happy why not!  :)  But certainly NOT my favorite cup of tea.  Z

This is what I am thinking too, it looks a little silly on there and weighs about 40#.
Plus I kind of like the stealthy/sleeper look.
