Well Z I have been beating on the SHO pretty dam hard (FUN) and it now has 36973 miles on the OD and I haven't heard any noise yet. The car is still under warranty and if the engine hatches I will let everyone know and you can count on that.

Well, my request for the update was out of curiousity, to see how well the conventional product is holding up. Considering most people will run either full synthetic or synblend, your data is definitely an "outlier". I really would have liked UOA to go with, just to have an objective quantification of the state of the engine, but of course, that is purely at your discretion

I certainly wish for and hope for the best for your SHO!

I like Kool aid...
If you watch for sales/rebates, you can pick up synthetic for the same as conventional oil.
