Seems someone at the dealership wanted your car.  They hardly ever take a trade on a car that modified as yours.   Congrats on your new ride!

Still not one single AJP tuned car to have cracked the 11's. **yawn**.

Try, try, and try again. LOL

Quote from: stealbluesho on April 08, 2018, 10:06:41 PMNo, I didn't...

FYI if you install the kit, don't freaking put it behind the front bumper... what a PIA.

The location of my pump, as outlined in my "How-To", is a perfect spot to easily remove and replace the meth pump when It's time for a rebuild.....

ALL WITHOUT REMOVING THE FRONT BUMPER.

Good luck with the new whip there SBS. The forum should prepare for the next onslought/wave of questions yet to be posed. **cringe**

*****Side note, you'll have to change your user name now to BJS (not bj's although funny) but merely BlueJeansSHO*****

Time to pull that emotion chip there buddy... feeling a bit punchy aren't we?

In any event, yes, I did post a lot of questions, however, I was learning the platform and this group was invaluable in helping.

And I'm sure Brad will get someone there.. it's not like he has the resources of the major tuners out there.

Oh, how do I turn off of advancetrac? Where is my spare? Who has the best tune? What's the best exhaust? Is a CAI worth it? Which spark plugs should I run? Anyone have a part number for the 3BAR
MAP and where is it located? Why does it only have 1 screw?

You get your fix BPD1151? I can go on of course if you need more....

Sincerely,

Blow Job Blue Jeans SHO

I'm teasing...... both of you.

No emotion involved. LOL.

Congrats once again on the new whip. I think Bam_SHO may be onto something about the dealer wanting your trusty old Steel Blue, and yes Bradley will certainly get there.

Congrats on the new SHO, I don't think you'll be staying stock too long...its the nature of the beast.

Yea, just talked to LMS... they will reload my MyCalibrator for free with 2016 tunes. I also just ordered a new 3BAR and TS.. thats IT! I swear, I am not going to do anything else...

Ha! I do have a bad habit... I went into my LMS cart and realized I still had the HR springs in there... it took me a bit to remove them as I was staring at my whip envisioning how it would look lowered... lol...

In any event... I have had my fill of datalogging, tracks, etc for the time being... I am figuring a mid 12 second SHO with an OTS tune from LMS should be sufficient for now...

I do have a thought on picking up a PI, gutting it, and building it out.. funds depending..

One of those parts wouldn't  happen to be a wastegate mod would it?

Off the top of my head: Hotpipes with the wastegate mod, per the setup I had fabbed up a while back (probably 3k miles on it if that). SW catless downpipes, were new when I got em, again probably 3k (they were the ones AJP had gotten from SW with the corrected O2s). 170 Thermostat(may keep it if it'll work on an F150 as well EDIT: wont work on an F150 eco :( ). 3 bar (likely keeping for an F150 spare). Airaid intake, I put like 7k on it, but got it off AJP so not sure on the total. Also probably gonna part with the crash gauge pod (though it needs some light repairs on the clips. I'll likely keep the gauges though unless someone really wants the pro sport boost and analog A/F that are there.

Im still not 100% on selling the stuff off, but it doesn't look like I'll be getting into a SHO anytime soon based on having just bought a house and the multitude of mustang projects now (finish my '03, fully build the '92) so I'll probably get a nicely setup Eco F150, tossing around an X-sport as an option as well, but tbh I'd rather go with the F150, and nothing will really swap over to that unfortunately. Thinking that since I have a house now I need a good vehicle for getting random appliances/furniture/etc. as well as something that can trailer whatever car I wanna race on the weekend in case something brakes, because babying a car even 40 miles is a pain in the butt, and depending what gets broken, sometimes that isn't even doable.

all i know is wouldn't sell crashes pod cheap. lots of 2nd gen 4/5er's are looking for one. since got one of his pods had talked with crash of trying to do an A pillar pod like BPD's but he was hesitant then got sick & we lost him. hope that someone in his family kept his sho. the fun part well not so fun was when i was having tranny gremlins & took back to the dealer & the serv mgr telling me he didn't know a gauge pod was an option on the sho, that was back in '12 or so when they dealers didn't know much about them. did they ever know much about them!!!

Just email Brad and quit deluding yourself..  Once a junky, always a junky.  Embrace it and enjoy it.  Though in your case I would continue and get thru a decent break-in before feeding the beast.  I could probably hold off about one tank of gas, I think that is about how long I had my car before I put a tune on it...  But 10k probably be better target...

Really happy for you and jealous man.  Color is about the only thing I would change on my car and it would be for blue.

Yea, Brad is a beast, but I dunno if I want to deal with datalogging again which is nothing against him... the wear and tear with that is a concern. Besides, LMS is going to hook me up with their 2013+ tunes for just the cost of shipping the device. Can't beat that....

I am thinking of waiting until 10K or more.. but at the rate I drive... that will be 6 months or longer!

Maybe my case is a 1-off but when my SHO was got totaled out, Brad said if I got another one he would set me up with a tune for it for free. I bet he would hook you up on another tune setup for the new car one way or another. Plus you don't have mail the X4 back to anyone (unless you left your 2010 on a tune from the SCT device, and still there is a way to get it back to unmarried without sending it off IIRC). If it was on the LMS tune, the SCT is unlocked and ready to marry to another car, without any extra work. That is why my X4 isn't listed in all those parts, it will be used on whatever my next vehicle DD is. Man I really need to wait before I get a truck, but I want one baaaad....
