Hey guys, my name is Joe and I just joined up here. I purchased my 2013 Lincoln MKS about 2 weeks ago and I've been loving it. I've had a few hiccups that the dealer has had to take care of but overall very happy.

I'm new to this platform but I'm not new to EcoBoost. I had a 2013 Focus ST that I traded in for the Lincoln. Absolutely loved that car but the deal on the Lincoln fell in my lap and I had to take it lol. It was stock except for an AEM Dry Flow filter and a TB Performance front traction bar. I've also owned quite a variety of vehicles from Mustangs to RX-7s and some others thrown in.

I'm a lighting enthusiast so the first thing that had to happen was replacing all of the interior incandescent bulbs(except for the vanity lights and glove box) with Osram/Sylvania LED bulbs. Much cleaner and more light. Then I replaced the license plate bulb lenses because they were super grimy and starting to corrode. Of course I had to add Osram/Sylvania LEDs there as well. It's crazy to me that my $30K Focus had OEM LED interior and tag lights but this $50K Lincoln didn't lol. I have HIDs waiting for the fog lights once I get my ballasts back from my sister. Those will be NHK 4300K bulbs, potted Denso slim ballasts(AMP converted), with a Morimoto HD H11 relay harness. The D3S headlight bulbs are in desperate need of replacement. Those will be replaced with Osram CBIs at some point.

On the performance side of things, I'm still undecided whether I'll mod it or if it will stay stock. Time will tell I suppose. I'll end this short novel now by saying I look forward to the valuable information this forum and its members have to offer!

EDIT: I'll have to convert pictures to be able to post them since Photobucket decided to abandon us.

Great pics, thanks for updating the post!  Lovely MKS, but the interior is what always gets me, it is SO nice!

Yeah I bought a helmet for the track so it likely will get modded down the road hahaha. Probably next year I'll start with a 3 bar MAP, plugs, thermostat, and a tune.

Don't forget the helmet as soon as you tune, I went from 14.2-14.4 on my SHO w/o tune, to 12.8-13.0 with tune. If I hadn't taken a helmet to the track when testing my tune I would have been kicked out after the first run.
