My daughter's 2016 Hyundai Accent did what it was supposed to do and protected her from injury this week.
She slightly bumped her head on the side window,  the car was totaled. She pulled out in front of a Lincoln MKX. Hit center of the front wheel, car kicked around and the other side hit the curb as the back corner hit the same car that hit her. Interesting that no airbags delayed.
Owned it for 11 months, got a really good deal when new, so, actually coming out ahead of pay off.
Now that Ford offers a real transmission in the 2018 Focus, the 6F15, we are going to look at a 1.0 Focus and she wants to look at the Hyundai again. The 6F15 is a light duty version of the 6F35. (So far, my son is having good luck with the 1.0 in his 2014 Fiesta 5spd, at 42k trouble free miles now.)

On a different note, would your son like a tune on that 1.0 liter? I would like to tune one lol...If you would like to buy an SCT device I'll tune it for free 

Yikes, and double Yikes!  Hope she gets 100% real soon.  Too bad about the car, but like you said, it did its' job. 

As an aside, a spate of similar accidents have us reeling on the Ford Edge FB pages.

That's awful especially nearing the Holiday Season!! hoping for a full speedy recovery.

Right when I think I am done with my tune @AJPTurbo always finds a way to surprise me... new exciting adjustments... can't wait for track season to start again.. extra boost and better tires along with some more special sauce from Brad... 11's on pump gas with meth on stock turbos is what I predict... assuming a good DA..

He's cookin up something for me as well...

I've never considered that my tune would ever be done, lol.

He's working on mine as well... So far it's been bad news with my car it doesn't seem to like higher boost Brad says the wastegate duty cycles are too high and my boost tapers and I'm not maintaining it  and it's over working the turbos cutting their life short or I have a boost leak somewhere but I've checked all my clamps and pipes EPP hard pipes.
I changed my tune to a lower boost see if it helps any. I'm on the edge to hear back from him hopefully some good news.

Any possibility of your wastegate mod sticking open?

He said this particular issue was showing before the mod and after the mod. Plus I don't hear the wastegate open until upshifts only. It's very noticeable when it opens.
