Tuning, even the AJP 87 octane, substantially improved the general drivability characteristics of my XSport. Better shifting, less hesitation/lag, better power. I have some dyno graphs in Reply #8 (see Total Power Comparison graph for OE vs tuned), if you're into heavy reading, LOL:

Honesty is the best policy, IMHO.

I have a "93 OCTANE" post-it label in bold black letters on my instrument cluster to remind my wife what to put in the tank on the rare occasion that she's the one filling it up.
