It seems like most people inject 100% meth.  Is that a fair statement?  If so, why aren't more people injecting more water along with their meth?  Water cools the incoming air more than meth.  Provides power too.  I'm not necessarily basing this off of turboed gas motors though.

Negative... I would say more people inject 50/50 mixes...

The only people going 100% are LMS guys... or a very very few with snow, devils owns, AEM kits...

Really?  OK.  I've been over on the "other" board (If we're allowed to say it here) and I guess it's more based off that board that seems to be people running LMS stuff.  Running 100% meth makes no sense to me.  I'd feel much more comfortable running a 3 gallon tank of 50/50 in my trunk than 100% meth also no matter what it's in for a tank.  Especially since I have my three kids in my car on pretty much a daily basis.

FWIW... LMS only supports 100% meth in their tunes... and only one kit... that they sell...

I briefly ran 50/50 in my hybrid Alky system, but I saw almost no benefit from it.  So now I run 100%.  5 gals of Sunoco RM-99 should last a little while.

No water mix for me. 100% Meth for 5yrs+.

Other than a pump crapping out at the 2.5yr mark (I since learned there are duty cycles for ALL PUMPS regardless of who the vendor/mfg'er is) I have had ZERO issues running straight methanol.

Suffice to say, just as much as some owners don't like the concept of running 100% Meth, I myself, don't like the concept of spraying water into the combustion chambers. Plus, IDC to be dicking around mixing $h!t. Whether it's water/meth ratios, or E85 mixtures. Employing the K.I.S.S. methodology works wonders for one's sanity.

To each their own in the end, but I am an example of straight meth NOT being anywhere near a safety concern as others have claimed over the years.

Purchase sound equipment, install it properly, periodically verify fittings/connnections are tight with usage, etc. and similar results can be expected.

Yes BPD is a meth head, and got me hooked too.  We have many discussions over the past two years about running meth.  Im really glad I did.  Still on my first 5 gal pal of M1, with another spare I just purchased.   It all comes down to you.  I might use half gallon of meth all day at the track.

That has always been a question I have had, what is the usage like.  I am sure it ha to do with how often you run WOT...  How long have you been running Meth for?

I always ran a 50/50 mix with great results.  I would purchase 5 gal cans of 100% pure for $35 and mix with distilled.  Mixing is easy!  I had a 1 gallon little gas can marked at exactly 64oz and then 128oz.  Fill it to the first line with meth, second line with distilled.  Cake.  Shitload cheaper than boost juice.   With this mix I picked up 73rwhp in my built fox.

It was fantastic until the system didn't work one day (pressure switch) and ate a piston.

Methanol is a fuel that can be dangerous and should be treated as such.  If you're running 100% I hope you are using fuel rated lines not just the little nylon push lock air stuff that comes in kits.

I use stainless braided PTFE AN-4 lines from Devils Own (made with Fragola ends).  I would never use 100% meth with nylon push lines.

Meth usage depends on how heavy you are on the throttle.  I have my system setup to come on around 8 psi.  I can get on the highway without the system turning on to start spraying.

The Alky Controls System comes with steel braided lines and all the fittings are bass.
