Expected MPG's

Part of the reason why I am coming over to the Ecoboost is for some gas mileage benefits over the 15.2 mpg my Jeep SRT got. When I commute it is 35 miles split between 3 miles of rural driving and 32 highway miles. I usually just set the cruise on the highway at 70 mph and enjoy the ride as there is not much traffic here in Maine. What is everybody getting for similar situations or just in general for mpg's?

I actually got up in the 28's on the MPG display (which may or may not be accurate) on a two hour highway trip.  Usually 22-25 mostly highway.  Your mileage may vary.

I've found I actually get better MPG's when I'm NOT using the cruse control on my SHO. The newer Fords have a more aggressive cruise control then older models and Ecoboost engines are very sensitive to throttle input when it comes to MPGs. I haven't made a trip to NJ lately from where I live at in MD (about 135 miles 90% highway) to test the no cruise control, but I've had my car up around 20-21 MPG going about 15 miles to work on a 4 lane highway with the speed limit varying from 30-55 MPH with traffic lights without using my cruise control...it was lower before that.

But as a fair warning, the throttle does have a huge impact on the Gas Mileage, but you should do better the what your getting now (I'm back down to 18.5 or so since I got my LMS tune)

I get 24 mpg on my daily commute to work. 80 miles round trip on the interstate through the hills of WV. Once I get in flatter areas I average 27-28. The worst I've gotten with alot of in town driving is 20. Stage 4+ tune.

I get 20 period and I drive it like a fat boy after chocolate just passing his puberty and falling in love with boobies for first time.

The car is a performance car; want mpg--get a Prius, preferably one with lambo doors!

I once got over 50 mpg in our Flex on our street with my wife pushing!

I've kept really accurate fuel records since I've got the car...the best mileage I ever got was around 32 and the worst around 15, but my average is about 22.5...also if you want a neat place to track fuel mileage try Fuelly.com.  I use it, and what's really neat, is they have an app, so you can fill in info from your phone or your computer.

Made a trip to Springfield Ill for RTE 66 car show. Always the biggest & best of the year, not to show my SHO, just to go, of course no SHO's at the show. But with some city driving, mainly hwy 28MPH & first time my mopar-loving brotherinlaw went on a road trip with me since got the SHO, he was oohing & ahing about the ride & even how quite it was. he should have heard it before the Borla cbacks.

I think the best I have ever done in a SHO (and this was a 95 ATX FWD) is 30 mpg driving down from Maryland to Florida, stopping mainly for fuel.

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

Have no idea where you all get these numbers. I am always at 14. Never on a hwy. Once or twice did some long distance and was around 25 tops. Have the pp package. Gets the same mileage as my Shelby. Maybe its just me. Or my foot.

While out & about in meh SHO!

Same for me.  Usually the farthest distance I travel is 2 miles to work, or 8 miles to school, and do little highway driving. That being said, the display usually says 15.5 mpg.  It was at 14.5 before I put my new tires on. I could probably get much better mileage, but the the car just wants to GO!  It's true, she told me so.

Same story here, I have never got over 17 mpg in my 2013.  I have an aggressive tune and drive in S most of the time so that may account for the mileage along with the all city driving.
