You can definitely measure knock with Forscan...haven't tried the lite version yet but I would be surprised if it isn't there...

Forscan lite for IOS and Android can monitor KR.
Know the PID by any chance?

Forscan you can search for PIDs once the car is connected. Search Knock and everything with the work Knock will come up including Knock Retard.

I have a TRACFONE, can I see KR's with that?

;)

If it runs on android and has Bluetooth then you should be able to.

Nope, reviews of my flip phone states it runs "on it's own OS".

Interested to see if it improves performance for your '14 :)  How many miles do you have on it right now?

I bought my car 4 months ago and it now has 34,000 miles. That's one of the reasons I did the fuel service, I didn't know what kind of gas the previous driver used, how they drove the car, etc.

I'd like to drive it for a week or so before making a final judgment, but early thoughts are driveability/throttle response seem much better.

Sorry to drag this old post out but I seem to be having a similar issue. I did not see any chafing on the two pair of wires coming out of the harness on the driver side, but I did see where people didn't have chafing but covering the wire and securing the connector fixed the issue so I am going to try it.

My question is about the passenger side harness. It seems most people just cover the drivers side, I can't seem to find a definitive answer on where the passenger side harness is and if it suffers from the same problem. There is a picture in this tread but that harness only has 3 wires coming out, I have 4 or two pair coming out the driver side. Any help would be appreciated, I plan to loom these tonight and test to see if the knock goes away.

Thanks,
Scott

I don't believe there's any knock sensor wires that exit the passenger side intake.
I have a pic somewhere.
I'll post it in a few.

There is a set of wires on the passenger side, they're kinda tucked in the intake manifold crevice, under the throttlebody. I had false knock and covered/secured my drivers side wires, never touched passenger side. No issue since November. If no else chimes in, ill try and dig up the pics when I'm home.

Edit: Check out page 3 of this topic, there are a few pictures:

I have a 2011 SHO, still stock, recently purchased that I suspect needs the knock sensor wires tweaked.  I plan to do it once my CAI, new T-stat, and plugs come in.  In the meantime before then (going home today) I would like to get some KR values to confirm that my sporadic lethargic behavior on WOT is due to perceived knock and timing modification by the ECM.  I have and run Torque Pro on my phone all the time while driving.  I installed the plugin for KR, but didn't figure it out or rather it didn't work  and it screwed up all my other real time viewers (0-60, HP, Torque, coolant etc.)   So I uninstalled it.  I'm not real thrilled with Torque as it is (I do not trust its timing of various acceleration and torque and hp calculator) and saw FORscan Lite mentioned.  I see that it is not free, but cheap.  My question is does the issue of the KR plugin on torque sound more like a bluetooth adapter issue?  If so and if I need to buy a better adapter that is known to work best I will.  I see that FORscan is picky with adapters as well and see no point in buying that right now if it won't work either.

More than likely it was an incorrect formula for KR, like an extra parentheses or a missing operation symbol, something along those lines.  As to the other parameters, I assume you deleted the display for the parameters and readded them?
