Once thats done, and I find my +12V constant, and switched 12V it'll be time for some pics of that fancy gauge pod!Quote from: bpd1151 on October 13, 2016, 02:54:56 PMQuote from: crash712us on October 13, 2016, 02:28:22 PMNo absolute not. But I drilled a hole next it when I installed mine. But all the factory access when the harness runs thru is under the cowl under the windshield. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Quote from: glock-coma on October 13, 2016, 03:08:43 PMHere is the rubber boot under the windshield cowl
Quote from: glock-coma on October 13, 2016, 04:32:07 PMCowl itself is pretty easy to remove. A special wiper arm remover tool is recommended to remove the arms first. then there's just a couple clips around the perimeter. I used goop e6000 for the boot And this tool for the wiper arm
Quote from: ZSHO on October 13, 2016, 04:34:48 PMIt looks like you might need to remove the wiper arms in order to gain access and there are also TWO CLIP'S holding down the cowl cover one on each end of the cowl located right above the strut tower inside the engine bay. Z
Quote from: glock-coma on October 13, 2016, 04:45:40 PMWell I guess it's not needed. But it was much easier than possibly cracking the edge of the windshield while prying it off....on my 2010 those mofo's were stuck on there good. Any auto parts store sells them in the tool aisle for about $10 .
