Good Year wiper blades are poop

I just want to rant about my crappy windshield wipers. Costco sells Good Year brand wipers. I bought some a couple of years ago for my F250 and they were horrible.

My SHO was in desperate need of some at the beginning of summer, and I just happened to be at Costco. I thought I would give them another shot. Bad idea. They always skip, smudge, leave marks, etc.....

I know it isn't a "go fast" part, but, living in the NW, I need my wipers to be good!!

I have had pretty sour luck with all the top 3 pricey ones for the SHO. Factory actually work best.

Whaddya mean it's not a go fast part???  Ever turned your wipers on full speed  :o  Hope you don't have to get your windshield replaced with aftermarket.  You will hate your wipers even more.

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

I too have tried top shelf BOSCHE, Rain-X, Michelin, etc etc and have found the factory blades are the best for not only this vehicle, but my GM vehicles as well.  This is one part that I suck it up and go OEM on.   The Motocraft for these cars is honestly not that outrageously priced.  I buy online and order two sets at a time.

If you go on-line Ford has a coupon for a pair of Motorcraft blades for 20 bucks until the end of August.

I'm still trying to figure out the logic in the rain sensing wipers. They seem to have a mind of their own!!
