This summer I picked up a '13 Flex Ltd with 21k. I was about to buy a new Kona Blue/white roof like I really wanted but decided to save some money at the expense of color choice especially since I was going to void the warranty.

Found one with the right equipment and price across the country in Miami, bought it from only seeing tiny Auto Trader pictures, and had it delivered on a truck. Less than a day later, H&R springs were installed along with 22" polished MKX wheels and MRT axle back exhaust.

Next install session added:
SCT+ w/ 87 octane, 91 octane, and 91+WM injection tunes
3 bar MAF sensor
spark plugs
thermostat
catless downpipes
AIRAID CAI
SPT camber bolts to improve the camber F&R

Next up will be to remove the roof rails, tint the front windows, maybe a rear spoiler, and get some all weather mats. I'll also do a bit of trim painting. I really wish there were a trim piece that I could insert into the trailer hitch receiver and have painted body color because that exposed and gap really bugs me.

Looks really good , it's crazy how small 22's look on the flex.
I love the look of the flex, especially when lowered.

Thank you, and I agree on both points. It's funny that 22's are offered on the small MKX/Edge and almost look like Donks, but then they look perfect IMO on the Flex. Of course I never had these on at stock height to compare.

The slight lowering of the Flex really makes the look, but I now have to duck a bit under the tailgate. I'm good with that, but an actual dropping tailgate and lifting glass would be so awesome. I wish I knew why nobody does that anymore. That was even a cool thing about the 92-95 Civics. Wagons used to have a tailgate that swung to the side or dropped down, and the new Ridgeline incorporates that as well. It would be quite trick

Looks great with those wheels!  I also like your idea of removing the roof rails.  Will clean up the looks a bit.

Agree on the rear window opening.  Wish more vehicles did it.  I had an '07 v8 Explorer that opened.  Love it for dropping in groceries.  Wife has an '08 Fit.  Doesn't open which is a shame.  We were disappointed when we realized that when we test drove it.  I'm sure it's a cost cutting thing.

Thanks. I got the roof rails off, but I really need to get the proper trim strips. It's just hard to swallow the high price the dealer wants for them. Front window tint happens this week.

Your Flex is on point!  Love where you are going with it.  Be sure to throw up some updated pics after tint and roof rail trim installed!

Flex looks great. I love the color combo, I'd take those colors over the Kona Blue/White any day.

Thanks, guys. Ask and you shall receive. The wrong trim strips aren't noticeable, but it is something I'll take care of later. Now I have a tuxedo black shark fin antenna on the way. The long stick is more noticeable now with the rails off.

Wicked Flex!  Love where you're going with it!

My H&R's will be here today for my Flex so I'm chomping at the bit to get them installed this weekend.  How do you like the ride so far?  How far off is your camber?  From what I've read, I thought the OEM suspension components were able to handle the H&R drop and still bring the overall alignment profile very close to factory spec?

Not sure about the Flex, but Taurus owners have found that they need camber adjustment bolts to get truly within spec in the rear.  I think you can only get close without them.
