How to disable downhill decent control?

So i have been unable to go into manual mode because every time i do i get a logo of a car going down a hill. Looks like the picture in the link below except mine is obviously white and in the center led screen (The RTT...reconfigurable telltale). In the manual it shows all the logos that can illuminate there except this one. How do i disable it?

I'm not to familiar with the MKS but did this issue start right after installing the new wheels?....could be related to the advancetrac. Z

No oddly enough it was fine with the wheels. But i just got it tuned so maybe that affected something?

No oddly enough it was fine with the wheels. But i just got it tuned so maybe that affected something?

I'm assuming you have a livernois tune? I'm using the Tapatalk app so I don't see signatures. Livernois can activate this mode , but usually only if you request.

Yeah i have livernois, I will contact them about it. Also i was able to over ride the mode by pushing the paddle shifters in or out. I also have been noticing that shifting gears has been pretty rough recently and livernois said it would take a little bit for the tranny to get used to the tune. However its been two weeks and the shifting is still pretty hard.

I read that the decent control mode messes with how the tranny acts so maybe its on in the background but the logo only comes on putting it in manual?

My Livernois tune did that too. You are correct, just grab a paddle and it goes back to manual mode. Also on mine, no matter if you stab the throttle in manual mode, it will not auto downshift anymore. It will hold that gear truly. You might also notice that when you put it in manual mode the hill decent automatically drops one gear. I like the fact that it will not downshift unless I tell it to, but don't like that it doesn't show the gear I am in immediately.

It's simply a click of the mouse, to turn that feature on (or off) in the table/sub menu, during the tuning process.

LMS can, and has previously turned that feature off for those that don't desire it to be on.

Call and ask after explaining.
