So how did you guys run?

My best was 13.658 @ 101.18 (Unleashed tune, 3 bar) and it was my first time on the drag strip.  However, I need to try again but in Sport mode and it was another hot and humid day.  I look forward to going back again soon!

EDIT: AND improve launch technique  :)

If you share the full slip we can give you an idea on how you were launching and what to expect when you get it down. How many revisions on the tune?

All 3 runs attached.  I was not brake torquing much which is something I want to improve on in addition to R/T as well.  I'm looking to break into the 12s but not get too crazy as I still want a consistent/reliable daily driver (not exactly sure if that combo fully makes sense.)  This is the first tune from Unleashed, no revisions yet.

Oh yeah, lots left in her. Get 5-10 revisions in and the 60 down to 1.8s and you will be well into the 12's. The first tune is just a base, you will see large gains with revisions!

Thank you.  Ryan02stang (whom I rode up with along side his MKS and who helped me out) also said the same about the 60.  Can't wait!  :dude:

If you can only log at the track email those logs to Torrie right at the track. He is so fast you might get another revision or even two from one night at the track.

Did you mess with tire pressure or launch rpm? Mine got consistent 1.8x 60fts with tire pressure between 26-28 with stock Michelin's and brake boosting around 2200. Just getting your 60' down will drop your et considerably

Looks like you should be about a 13.0 which is on par for first revision Torrie tunes.  For every .1 in your 60ft you roughly lose .2 in your quarter mile time.  1.8 60ft should be easily accomplished once you get used to brake boosting.   Don't worry about your R/T as it doesn't factor in to your times.

I ended up on last minute kid duty anyways.  The track is open until the end of October, plenty of turbo happy cooler nights ahead.

I'm thinking about going tonight but damn it's going to be hot.  I am running a tune with the stock t-stat at the moment, I wonder how much that will hurt me.
Weather sucked, but it was a good time.  I always end up at the track on the hottest days.

I'll be heading up at least one more time this season....I'll post on here again to see if anyone is interested.

Also FWIW, tech inspection has been basically nonexistent.  Guy asked if I'm stock, I say yes, and then writes the numbers on my windows.

Definitely agree after 5-10 revisions and getting her dialed in properly you should be in the 12's in no time, its like having a brand new car you just need to be patient until she is broken in properly and keep us updated on all fronts.  Z   :thumb:

I didn't mess with tire pressure at all and I'm on stock Michelins.  I need to practice launch/brake boosting for sure.

I'm trying to get that brake boosting down and hope to be in better shape next time!

How are you guys launching that are getting 1.8 60 foot times?  I feel like I've had some really solid launches but still can't beat 1.9.

I've been break boosting, taking RPMs to just over 2000 and letting her rip.
