So tonight I changed my spark plugs gapped at 0.30 (SP-534, CYFS-12Y-T3) and added 3BAR (CX-11-31-AA5Z-9F479-B) and uploaded my new tune from LMS (stage 4X) started the car for the first time after all things were done and car ran like sht proceeded to get a wrench on screen and flashing engine light. Checked DTC's and had U0300. There is no throttle response while car is in park and the car just in general is running extremely rough. took it for a drive and it would not accelerate just stay in first gear and wont change (almost like a limp mode )
Here are some of the troubleshooting I did
- replaced 3BAR with stock 2BAR and returned to stock settings (no luck)
- tried pulling the sparkplug connecters to pinpoint (no luck)
- disconnected battery for 15min and restart and nothing
If anyone has any idea or input I would love to hear it.
I'm going to bring my car to the dealers tmo hopefully they can sort it out if nothing else just don't want to spend the money on something stupid
Pull and check the plugs too, and check that all the charge pipe connections as well as electrical connections on top of the engine are solid before paying the dealer.... Maybe call LMS regarding getting new tunes in case they are corrupt, etc.

You need to call LMS first thing in the morning before bringing to the dealer.

What year is your SHO again? Thinking old battery also a possibility if a 2011 or 2010, if original.

it's 2010 but the battery is new from last year
Are you sure you had the ignition in the "on" position (hold button until the gauges sweep) when instructed to do so and that all instructions were followed 100%? Did you get a message that the tune load was successful? Not trying to insult your work at all - just trying to think of simple things that might cause this. If you have the 3 bar installed but not a tune that is 3 bar compatible, you will have problems.
Hmm. Could very well be a bad tune file, like BiGMaC said, or a corrupted tuning device. There have been hardware failures on the tuners from time to time.

no insult at all, always good to have a second opinion or check list. I followed all instructions and had a successful tune (Stage 4X 3BAR).

I'm really hoping its just a bad file and can be fixed via new tune, The tuner itself had successfully programed my car with stage 4+ before I did the upgrades so I think its just the tune.
If I read correctly, you changed the plugs, and this was the first start after that (in conjunction with the 3 bar etc). I might try putting your old plugs back in one by one and starting each time( with 2 bar and stock tune) and see what happens.
Has the car been back to dealer for work since the initial tune? Think I read here that the strategy code could be changed then?
So Anthony from LMS called me this morning and he told me that basically that there was an issue with the tune and strategy code my car was the .01% of the 99.9% that this would happen to he said it was an old strategic code anyway he resent my old tunes and the car is working like it should everything is back to normal! now they have to redo the stage 4X for my car.
Anyway I'm happy now that everything is okay ! And
HUGE Thank you to everyone and their help. You guys probably saved me some $$ and stress.
thanks

also its funny you mentioned that because I did have the car in for recall work (license plate lamp). Ill have to let Anthony know.
Glad to hear all is well and it is great that Anthony stepped up to help. If this had happened to me, I would have been freaking out until a solution was found.
I had a feeling that it was strategy code issue. As stated there is very small number of cars that have this tuning issue. Luckily LMS has encountered and was quickly able to identify the problem.
Awesome! Simple fixes are the best!
Excellent news! Now you can spend the $ on more mods.
Great to here, now you can enjoy the car even more now.
