Does this pipe look split?

1/2" fuel line disconnect got those fittings off.

Also driving the other day got on it, heard a pop like a backfire. Checked out the engine bay. Looks like dealer put pipe from intercooler to tb on, but didn't tighten the clamp, so it was a huge boost leak. I logged like 2psi of boost and was like.... TF

Hot pipes back on. The new factory BOVs are a little different, attached pic of one. Ready yo go test drive...   btw found more loose hose clamps when I went to take factory pipes off, pretty horrible service from the ford dealer I went to. I'm hesitant to blame the tech considering I don't know what kind of time constraints he's under to get things done. I am very leary of buying another ford, especially with an ecoboost considering the dealers are so incompetent troubleshooting them/fixing them.

If you cannot find a reliable Ford dealership, a Lincoln dealership is usually the way to go.  Much more experience apparently with the EB platform, and they tend to have more experienced service personnel as well.

Thanks I'll have to look into that, however I had a lincoln MKX from the local place and had some boneheaded techs work on my MKX once they had to fix a headlight so they replaced it and didn't aim it so it pointed straight down. Bring it back and leave it, come back to pick it up, driving around that night, BOTH headlights pointing straight down couldn't see s***!  I can't make this s*** up.

The only other lincoln dealers near me are in NJ I think, and I refuse to cross the bridge for political reasons, I carry daily and they don't want me in the state with my firearm so I'm more than happy to not visit their state with my money.

bamsho might have recommendations for good dealerships in PA, don't know if any are near you though.

Finally fixed it, log finally good. Also these hot pipes are awesome, very solid.  Cutting that hard plastic line and just plumbing a tee in right there was the thing to do IMO for that vacuum reference on the tial BOV

So I am potentially developing the same issue as the original poster.  I've got some oil seepage out of the rear turbo charge pipe right at that plastic ring clamp "thing". My question is "What's actually under that plastic clamp?".  It sounds like I can cut it off and just replace it with another clamp assuming the pipe itself isn't cracked?  I'm trying to verify before I go and either order a replacement piece or just say heck with it and get the hot pipes.  I do have a silicone 1.5" to 2" adapter just in case the hose itself is split but I'm afraid it may be too short.

I guess my main concern is once I take the clamp off will I be able to reclamp it with a band clamp or something and still at least drive it?

Do you mean Vent to Air? I have not if that is what you are asking so I know the oil isn't from there.  I've cleaned this area several times and it always comes back.  The car is holding boost and my wastegate % isn't really climbing dramatically so I don't think I have a major boost leak or anything but it definitely doesn't seem normal to have oil there.  I did have the PCV update done ages ago as well.  My blow off valves are all stock otherwise.

Hi Z!  I've been around but I am getting back in to working on the SHO a bit.  I've got 52K on the Odometer so not too bad for '13.  I only use Amsoil 5W-30 Signature series (just changed it a bit ago actually) and a Motocraft filter.

Yeah - probably could have started a new thread - I see this one is pretty long.  My apologies!  I will do that in a bit with my own pic. 

Nothing appears actually broken or even loose but I know looks can be deceiving - who knows what it is doing under boost.
