NEED HELP W/ ball joint removal.

I found removing the entire knuckle to be the easiest way too.

Removed brakes and rotors, remove outer tie rod from knuckle, remove axle nut and push in cv axle, remove end link to strut, remove strut nut to knuckle, remove entire lower control arm, hit steering knuckle downward until it falls off the strut, and that's pretty much the process i did.  You remove the four strut mount bolts on top and it drops from there.

Try hitting the control arm with a hammer. That may free up the ball joint. Whatever you do, don't hit the ball joint. Prying on the joint may damage the grease boot.
