I think the type of tires play a significant role on exactly how the car reacts and feels!

Most definitely, as well as pressure they are run at.

Got yourself a new car!  It sure looks it with the way you maintain it!

I like the way mine rides, right up until the point the suspension maxes out and it has that hard bottom point to it.  Just taking my time and evaluating.
I am honestly considering pulling a few mods back, mostly because after December I will have a dedicated streetcar project to get my firm ride, high HP, hammering thru the corners fix with.  Dial back the SHO a bit to more of a comfy DD.

Thanks Bud! The SHO is here for the long haul! I got to much money invested!   :)  I tend so spend to much time on the SHO and the very reason the wife hates me! Lol.  BTW still have the Conti- DW Summer tires which provide an overall better ride IMO!  Z  :drive:

Yeah I had conti summers on my STSV, loved those tires.
Once these Motivo's wear out (wish they would hurry up, I am not a fan) I am not sure what I am going to do, other than I know I am going 275/40-20 on all 4 corners.  Pretty sure I will go with the Firestone Indy 500's unless something else comes around on super sale.

Thanks to everyone in this thread for the incredible information!  You guys are excellent!

I've accepted the challenge and I'm installing my H & R springs (and cam bolts) on my 15 non-PP, this Saturday.  VERY much looking forward to how this turns out.  I'll post back here with the results.

You will definitely like the looks.

Ride is very subjective, here in WA for my daily driver and the local roads it just did not work and I pulled my H&R's out 2 weeks ago to return to stock.  Scraping belly on speedbumps (they are everywhere here) and feeling suspension bottom out constantly just got old for a daily driver.

Make sure to get your alignment done after a few hundred miles to let them settle in.  The car will handle twitchy and odd until you do, but you need to let it settle in so just bear with it for a bit.

I had them through 3/4 of one winter before I stopped driving the car in the winter.  It was completely fine.

Yup. Had them on for 5 winter seasons here in Chicago, including record snowfall events, as well as extreme cold temps, and they performed flawlessly.

I no longer daily drive my SHO either, and I have since upgraded to the Megan Racing coil overs.

But the H&R's were great given they were only springs.

I loved providing snow plow services for free, where ever I drove. Haha

FYI - that is one bolt, not the pair.  for some reason they do not sell the new correct rear bolt in pairs.  I bought that part number from amazon and had to buy qty:2.  Notes say 1 kit per wheel.

Jezz bdp you don't mess around even the tsw's on in the winter lol. I used to plow snow with my TL-S so I'm rather used it. I just didn't want it to be to low where the ground clearance was s*** and I couldn't ge through anything.

Lamrith I got your pm I'll not ignoring you I'm just in the middle of swapping my turbos at the moment.

I've only ran into a couple "issues" with being lowered so far. With 7-800+ lbs of people/crap in the car, the rear tires will rub on a good bump, but I have some 295s in back, so not unexpected. Other than that, be careful on big dips, (I've only had 1 place around where it was an issue so far, and it's a REALLY bad parking lot. (Rite Aid....going the way of AMES and SEARS...) I have found that hitting speed bumps at an angle keeps me from bottoming out as well...of course that may not always be an option for you.

Other than that...getting the car up in the air enough to get my fat azz  under it is one hell of a Jenga game, lol
