Z, do you realize the link you posted says "2013-17, 3.5L, turbo, without sho pkg 1."?  SHO Pkg 1 is the performance package.  I still maintain that you are using the non-PP struts.  But you enjoy your bouncy ride.

If those are the same number Z and I came to agreement on in one of my posts, they are stiff as hell. Some of the bumps scare me they are so hard, i check my teeth in the mirror after lol.

I'm not trying to stir up trouble in the least bit, but it is odd that they would list this strut as w/o SHO package 1.  At least in the case of the brakes, in order to get the PP calipers, I had to order them as W/SHO package 1.

Z knows his parts better than I do though.  I just know that with the brakes, the key is W/SHO package 1 option.  Otherwise you don't get the red seals or the performance friction pads.

I was really curious about this so I did some digging.  Using a VIN from a PP SHO to pull up the parts and I do get the same part numbers posted by Z.  The last digits are the U and W struts for the PP.

Like I said, he definitely knows his parts and like he said, the part numbers for these cars can be a mess!

I bet if you enter a non-PP VIN, you'll get the same result.  The VIN doesn't contain package info.

It narrowed it to only one option.  I'll try a non-PP and see what I get.

Edit - Just tried it.  Non-PP you get the Y/X numbers.

The VIN does narrow it to package options.  That's how I got my PP calipers.  Put the VIN into Ford's system at the dealer and it gave only one option.  This does not work outside of Ford, but inside Ford the VIN narrows it to your car.  That's why they want your VIN at the dealership parts counter.

FYI another indicator is that the PP-SHO option would have (Non Painted Brake Calipers),versus with (Painted Black Calipers) option for the NON-PP.  Z

H&R Sport Springs are designed and engineered for each particular application to lower the vehicle's center of gravity and reduce body roll. They offer the correct spring rate for low, aggressive looks, high performance handling and no ride harshness! Stock ride comfort is retained while a lowered ride height between 1.25" – 1.8" on average can be expected.

Thx for posting this Z, this is looking like a more realistic option due to the lack of availability on the Megan's.

(Quick Update) and CroR1 is Spot on!!!  Here are my initial impressions!!
I noticed overall better steering response and body roll(handling) coming from a Big-Naughty-4400 lb-Girl.
I guess it all depends on the road conditions but noticed the ride is much harsher even with the new Springs,Struts, shock, combination installed and probably something I need to get accustomed too. Z  :drive:
Your car is a PP so supposedly ride stiffer than non PP already, and these made it even stiffer?
Hows the ride now with some miles on it, you mentioned not as bouncy now that it is settling, but is it still harsh?

Why you ask? hope your not needing new Struts, shocks after piling your trunk with sand bags. J/K. Lol.  :P

Its not that harsh as some portray it to be with the exception of pot holes which could be a pain in the ass. Lol.
I will reiterate once again that it really depends on the road conditions and current wheel/tire setup which could have an impact on what exactly your feeling which could persuade your review, end results.
FWIW I am running the Conti DW-Summer tires which have an overall softer compound.

The car feels more agile(nimble)with overall better steering response with very very minimum body roll especially @ high speeds and being able to maneuver, weave in and out of traffic effortlessly on a given chance is a big plus and having that confidence level coming from a 4400 lbs beast is priceless . HAHA  Asking for purely scientific reasons! >:D

No I do not need new struts/shocks, but I have been contemplating the H&R springs, but am concerned about the ride.  She is my DD and I enjoy the comfort it has currently.

And yes the trunk loading is another concern.  While it is not Sand, I do sell BBQ Wood pellets as a side gig and it is not uncommon for me to need to haul up to 400# around town.  Max weight maybe once a month, usually 40-100#.  Having the extra tire gap comes in handy on those days, but man I would love to have her handling and looking better!

Hey with 400# in the trunk. You might clear curbs in the front then after installing these.
