Even I find it challenging to acquire sponsors for my own SHO, & I have A HELLUVA LOT more invested than you do.

Unless you can articluate a direct benefit to said potential sponsor, as to why they should funnel money and/or product your way..... you're quite frankly s.o.l.

I wouldn't even suggest a gofundme page like J-Will did. Pointless.

Save up your own mod money and be patient until you do so.

I have to agree with bpd1151 above as there are many SHO'S with excessive MODS to there credit and a good example would be ROTM Winners. Z

Check out the for sale section... there are sometimes downpipes on there.. thats where I picked up mine... exhaust appear ONCE in a blue moon...

All out Call out is some sort of race series/event that he is taking part in, so exposure for vendors would be pretty good as long as he badges up his car appropriately as most sponsors would require..  We all know how sneaky our cars can be and if he can keep the car consistent and cut a good light that is all it takes and the Mfg gets tons of exposure.

Don't even have to be fast in headsup racing, just consistent.  In fact a stock Sho with some way of cooling IAT to a consistent temp would be prefferable to a modded out one that is harder to launch due to high HP and traction.  A low HP car that cannot spin the wheels while boring to watch, can be vicious in headsup racing.  I know some big events years ago were not accepting rental cars, especially crown Vic rentals as they are super consistent and guys would fly into town for the event, rent a car, decide to run and win or at least top 5 and it pissed off the guys that prepped, paid to haul vehicles to events etc.

Ideally, I'd want to enter the "Big Boys" class.  Has to run between a 12.8 and 11.5.  My thought is that would get you into a class with more people leaning on their rides and braking or having traction problems.

A well tuned SHO/MKS would do very well with the AWD and fairly consistent times and durable drivetrain compared to a Fox body or Camaro with stock driveline and 150 shot (guessing that's popular at this time range).

My LMS meth tune will run 8.102-8 all day long... in the 1/8th consistently even though not the fastest..Would be interesting I think...
