so basically the car has hesitation issues at 60-70mph under light accel. i had the ford dealer and other shops check the motor and the issue no one seems to know what going on with it any ideas? im thinking it has something to do with the transmission. i have no check engine lights (never have) ive changed the plugs the car is tuned but the issue still happends when its in stock form.

Does it feel like it's missing when under light load in top gear?  More so if going uphill?  If so, mine has it also and dealer refuses to help.

I suspect that a fair amount have this problem, but don't live where it's normal to have uphill sections at higher speeds.

I don't have any solution, but share your frustration.

If by missing, do you mean if you ever so slightly accelerate by say pressing down less than 10% on the accelerator and you feel a fluter/slight stutter I get that to.  Tuned and in OEM form.    No codes and no issues,. All I could guess was I am feeling the spark gain and spark loss ..

i dont believe that it is feeling the spark or anything like that. the hesitation happends when going flat or up hill seem like when i push the gas at like 20% it flutters and hesitates no codes no nothing an just like him dealer cant help no idea. i dont like it at all now im looking for maybe "turbo leak" idk

Do your RPM's bounce/fluctuate when the situation happens?

to bad your not local, it sounds very much like what i feel.   but then i am super sensitive to how my ride feels.  no-one else who has driven it feels it.  but i can feel it just as you describe.

i have not seen any issues in the logs so i ignore it and attribute it to it being the early production nature of the 2010 gen-1 cars... hell mine was made in november 2009 and think it is the reason i do not see the same power outputs as the same tune levels on 2011+ models

I have 14 SHO and was noticing this exact issue.  Installed new plugs and sucked some crud out of my intercooler and now I barely feel it, might just be coincidence.

Hey all does not sound exactly the same as what I had, but on mine it was a sticking brake light switch, which was causing the computer to back off all throttle.  Initially taking my foot off the gas then putting it back on got around it.  Then when I realized root cause, I could make the issue go away simply by pulling up on the brake pedal.  I then replaced the brake light switch and problem was solved.

First I've heard of that brake light issue.

Curious...If the computer cuts throttle with brakes, how can you power brake at the track?  Mine lets me build boost and rev it to the limits of the torque converter or available traction with the brakes applied.

I would agree with Boostedflex ^ and it has been a fairly common issue in the past followed by the remote start not engaging starting. Z

If the brake light is sticking, are the brake lights also activated?

Just wondering how can tell if the brake light switch is bad.  I tried pulling up on the brake pedal while it was stuttering just a bit ago, but it didn't make any difference.

FWIW Here is a member which had a similar issue which ended up being a loose wire coming from the(module).
I would use some electronic cleaner on the sensor to see if it helps any, just food for thought. Z  https://www.ecoboostperformanceforum.com/index.php/topic,5378.msg86281.html#msg86281

Yea still been doing it been in an out of the shops. like three ford dealers and two private mechanics a transmission place no idea whats up with this car......the car is about to go away, never in my life have i had this amount of issues with a car.

sholxgt

I feel your frustration.  Mine continues to run like crap as well.  The only solution that works for mine is to run it in 5th.  I just keep my left hand on the paddle at all times and click it down out of 6th at the first sign of stutter.

I'm just keeping mine long enough to pay it down and figure out what I want next.  Love the car, but the stutter ruins an otherwise great experience.

You guys ever logged spark source when this happens?

What is the knock sensor doing when it happens? Adding? Pulling? Flat?
