I am thinking of breaking my golden rule.  No tune mods or fluid changes before a road trip or Track day... But I want to go back to my 14-psi 170-tstat tune.

If I flip it right now,  it will get about 3 hours of mixed driving in before track day on Friday night at woodburn .. will it re-learn in time and be self optimized for shifts, octane?   I think it wont based on experience but thought to ask my betters..

It can take upto 200 miles of driving to reset emissions monitors after a battery change/KAM reset.  So I would think the same after a reflash.

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

Yeah i had thought it was something like that.  Ok,  I will leave the current tune in place and test the spray VS temps.

2 stage test
15/85 spray versus lane temps
50/50 spray versus lane temps
