During my latest meth revisions with Brad I noticed a ALMOST valve tap sound from cylinder four and hesitation at low loads... stethoscope and bore-scope came up clean! Started doing some digging with a buddy of mine who builds race motors for a living... the ticking WAS coming from the rear turbo gasket... replaced and no ticking...

Still noticed some weird hesitation while driving and checked out all the vacuum lines etc.. the rear turbo coupler for the hot pipe was split... being as I didn't want to wait on EPP for new powder coated ones... ford had one next day....

Funny.... I guess that coupler was probably cracked for awhile and finally decided to start causing problems... gasket I have no idea.. sometimes they just start leaking...

All good for now!!! Oil change was competed and no metal shavings or anything suspicious.... onward we go!

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!
