as per title,  I am looking at the datalogs in Excel and seeing that Spark Advance is sometimes *vastly* different than Spark advance v2 ..

which one should i be looking at for accurate spark interpretation ?

It shouldn't be vastly different but I've seen a few degrees.

I would look at V2 since it's the highest and it seems to be the spark after some of the compensations.

I need to start taking notes on all these tips-n-tricks from Brad. I think I'll call my compilation "Brad's Nuggets".

From nuts to nuggets.  I think evolution is happening :P

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

Interesting. so V2 would be that actual spark advance the car is getting and regular spark advance just references the base spark table before compensations from modifier tables?

I've been looking at regular spark advance in my own logs and rarely pay much attention to the v2 column.
