New Turbo's no way hook up brackets

OK I ordered new turbo's from Apple Ford when i got them in mounted i the Rear one up to the Exhaust manifold and when i went to hook up the brackets there is nothing to hook them to.


Call them up and they said to leave them off they are no longer required is that true ?

Did they supply you with 2010-12 turbos or 2013+?  I vaguely recall a note in a recent Flex engine replacement thread about this.

they sent

FRONT TURBO AA5E-98438-00      790317-0007
REAR TURBO   AA5E-6K682-BL      790317-0007


was stamped on them not sure what year there were

Hmm, I see these part numbers for 2010 & 2013
1   AA5Z-6K682-E   Turbocharger1 FLEX; RIGHT
2   AA5Z-6K682-F   Turbocharger1 Turbocharger, LEFT

so they should be identical, unless of course the design changed over the years.  Like the MAP sensor having one bolt instead of two.
