Self tuning Meth

Anyone have any good documentation for configuring the Snow Meth kits on our car? I am looking to pick up the stage 2 (Snow 210) kit and am reading through the documentation....

The goal at this point is to take my current tune, and spray just enough to keep the IAT2 lower through 3rd gear.. this will assist in keeping the ecu from pulling timing as the IATs climb since the charge will stay cool....

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I cant help with the setup and nozzle selection and i see there are different controllers for meth.

If i could pick i would not activate it until 10 psi and then spray a steady amount ,not increasing duty cycle as boost increases...this would make fuel tuning easier.

And i would start with one of the smaller nozzles.

Ive been meaning to tell you that i think you would be better served with the meth over nitrous and yea i got your email

SBS, are you planning on running the new pump and full E85?

Honestly, the end goal I want is to be able to run similar to what I am running right now with a bit over 14psi and 25 degrees of spark on E20 without having to use the throttle to control the boost spikes... thats what I want the bigger pump for.. if we can increase the boost and timing on say E30 or E40 and still maintain enough fuel pressure to not need the throttle to control load even better... the meth I want to help reduce the IAT's... I want keep my IAT's low enough that the ecu wont pull spark... there for I am not relying on the Meth to provide Octane or fuel.. if I run out of meth, fine, the ECU will just pull spark...

In short..

Bigger HPFP to eliminate the need for throttle controlled load.
Ethanol to prevent knock retard
Meth to reduce IAT's so I can hold full timing at the track.

I feel this would give me a solid platform that is safe and stable.

If you're getting the pump why not just run full E-85 and raise your IAT thresholds?

DI E85 cools more than port meth, we just don't have any way to measure it.

There is a MIT research paper I posted recently that addressed this and the E85 drops the in cylinder temps by about 200 degrees. The hotter the intake air the more heat it pulls out.

I think you may meet your goals with E85 only. You can always add meth later if you don't get the desired results.

I was reading through that tomb the other day... good stuff, thanks for posting it!!!
