Tricky Switches?

So, I stumbled upon something today that intrigued me and I am wondering if anyone else has recognized this issue or knows anything about it.

Sitting at idle in park with my windows up, if I pull the power window switches to close the windows (yes, they are already closed), I noticed that my RPMs took a little bit of a dip and then recover.  So then I did the same thing but with 2 window switches and noticed even more of a dip in my RPMs.  I pulled all 4 switches and even more of a drop.  Probably a 250-400 RPM dip with 4 switches.

It happens every time I activate the power window switches.  Is this normal?  Anyone else have this issue?  Thoughts and concerns?

Load on the battery which causes the alternator to put more load on the engine...would be my guess..

The electrical load would be higher because the window motors are pulling maximum amperage since they  are meeting maximum resistance...

Do this with all four windows while pulsating the breaks, and flashing high beams in park... it's even more pronounced..

EVERY car I have had does this.. when I had my Tahoe it was extremely prevalent when the alternator was going out...

I wouldn't worry unless your battery or alternator is on its way out..

at idle the alternator isn't putting out many amps, and power windows are ... power hungry ...  Each front power window motor is on a 30A fuse (!)

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

I would experiment with the headlights on as you will see the lights dimm as soon as the switch is pressed and drawing current from the alternator/battery while making the idle fluctuate and once again perfectly normal. Z
